I have difficulty finding pillows that are comfortable. I sleep on my back and sides. This one is just right. It is firm and thick enough, yet it gives a little, because of the foam part, so your head does not sink in the pillow too far. I can breathe sleeping on my side with this pillow. It is fairly firm and flat, the thickness is good, not too high so your neck stretches, low enough for good spine alignment. I really love this pillow. Regular size pillow cases fit it fine. I wish it came with a pillow cover to keep it even cleaner and dust free. But still, a great buy and very comfortable for me. I noticed no smell when I opened it up— it comes in a vacuum sealed container and when opened, expands within seconds. I also find it is not hot to sleep with. If you like real soft, plump or down like pillows, this is not for you. But if you want something firm and not too high, this pillow will be perfect.

So, I've had this disgusting pain in my right shoulder blade . Don't know what it's from , but I was sleeping without any kind of pillow for a good few months, because I am a stomach sleeper and most pillows are just too big to get comfortable. I got tired of literally living in pain!!!!! So I looked up pillows and came across this one. Been using it for a few weeks , maybe a month, and today I noticed my pain was not there..... I don't know for sure if it was the pillow, but that is the only thing I can really think of.

I'm a back sleeper and side sleeper, but I find myself waking up with my pillow thrown off the bed because they're all just a bit too much for me. I've had this pillow for two weeks and I didn't even realize this was what I needed until I had it. It provides a comfortable surface without bending my neck at any unusual angles, and I'm happy I've found it.

I followed the instructions that came with the pillow and took it out of the package, smashed it with some hammer fists a few times to get it to rise and then let it gas itself out. Yes- it will smell at first. These types of pillows always do. It will go away though. By the 3rd day when I started using it there was no noticeable smell.I've used it for a few nights now and I typically figure out very quickly if I'll like a new pillow. I find the firmness is just right. It gives just enough but not so much you sink into the pillow. On my side I find it very comfortable. The problem is I only start out on my side and often flip to my stomach very quickly. For whatever reason, using this on my stomach resulted in my arm/shoulder falling asleep way more often than usual. It got pretty bad a couple nights. The last night I did try sticking this on top of my regular pillow to try and alleviate the arm falling asleep. I ended up chucking the memory pillow off in the middle of the night and using only my regular king-size pillow.I'll try using this between my legs since I'm supposed to work on keeping my spine straight while I sleep.

It shouldn't be my job to get the nasty factory smell out of a new pillow. Minus two stars for that. Otherwise a very comfortable pillow.It'll take a month or so for the smell to be gone if history is a good indicator. I won't even try to sleep on it until then.

Recently I've had to start sleeping on a wedge pillow because of headaches, but I find pillow wedges to be too firm and uncomfortable to the point that it takes hours for me to fall asleep. I can use this pillow under my head on the wedge pillow and it relieves a lot of the pressure caused by the firmness of the pillow wedge. This little pillow is really soft without being unsupportive. It doesn't make my ears or neck hurt, which I have problems with when I use standard pillows, and even some cervical pillows. I love the cooling effect. I woke up without a headache, so for me that's a huge win.

This is an extremely comfortable pillow! Low profile, feels heavenly, stays cool, and fits in any standard pillowcase! I have been using it for a few weeks now and have been sleeping quite soundly. I wake up feeling rested and with fewer body aches since this pillow keeps my neck and shoulders supported through the night. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I usually like a thinner pillow, but this one ended up being TOO thin. It has a nice firm bounce to it and the material feels nice, but regardless of the surface I am lying on (flatter like carpet or softer like my foam/gel mattress), this just doesn't provide any comfortable support. It's ALMOST like having no pillow at all. It's more like a thick floor mat or knee pad (for doing yard work).That and the lack of being double-sided (there is a clear top and bottom) makes it more awkward to flip since it gets hot quickly.
