Stable output but very noisy
This inverter has been giving me a very stable output for a data room where I have modems, routers, switches and cameras connected. Based on this it should be a 5 star product but the reason I took out one star is that the fan is very noisy. We can actually hear it come on (roughly every 20 minutes) through the door. I measured the noise level to 66 decibels at 1m. Luckily it only runs for about 15 seconds. With a less noisy fan this would be a 5 star.

REVIEWED A POWER INVERTER
VERY WEAK ITEM, NOT RECOMMENDED-SORRY

No lo recomiendo
Para la poca potencia de 1200 W arranca el ventilador muy frecuentemente aún sin nada de carga conectado

Solid / Easy Setup - 1600W Pure Sine Wave Inverter Converter
I picked up this power inverter as part of a small solar setup I’m putting together for my shed. After comparing several options, this one stood out mainly because of its price, higher continuous wattage capability, plus a decent peak wattage rating. It seemed promising for the kind of equipment I plan to support. When it arrived, I was happy with the packaging — the inverter was securely cushioned with foam, so it arrived in perfect condition. Aesthetically, it's a decent-looking unit. I'm not the biggest fan of the color scheme, but it’s not a deal-breaker at all. Functionality is really the priority for me, and so far, it's been solid.I haven’t fully integrated it into my solar solution yet, but I did test it with a standalone battery. One detail I appreciated was the dual switch setup. There's an onboard power switch at the back of the inverter, and a separate corded remote switch. What’s nice is that if you use the corded remote, it only works if the main switch is turned off — great for using it like a remote kill switch or even like a wall switch if mounted properly. That added usability is a nice touch.I connected it to a less-than-ideal battery for testing and was able to check out all the indicator functions on the front panel. There’s one that shows the input voltage, another that displays wattage draw, and a third that lights up when there’s a fault. I ran a heat gun through it to give it a decent load, and the inverter figures closely matched the heat gun's specs — which was reassuring. As the battery voltage dropped too low, the inverter threw a fault, clearly indicated on the display. Checking it against the manual made it easy to understand what happened. Definitely glad to see these protective features working as expected.Price-wise, this unit feels like a great value for what it offers, especially compared to other models in the same category. I haven’t tested it extensively yet, but based on these initial trials, I’m confident it’ll be a good fit for my needs. I also didn’t run into the fan noise issues some other users have mentioned — perhaps it didn’t run long or hard enough during my test to trigger the fan at all — so I can't personally confirm either way.Overall, I’m happy with this and excited to see how it performs once my full system is up and running.Pros:- Great value for the price- Higher continuous and peak wattage than many similar units- Dual switch setup allows for remote-ish (corded) control functionality- Clear and useful display indicators for voltage, wattage, and faults- Solid protective packagingCons:- Aesthetic design isn’t especially appealing (subjective)- Haven’t confirmed long-term performance or fan noise yet
