I bought this battery for my Dyson DC59 that the battery would no longer charge. I did try charging this battery when I got it, but it came fully charged. Included with the battery are two washable pre filters, a brush, possibly for brushing the filters, a screw driver for removal and installation of the batter, extra screws for battery installation, and a user manual that is really of no use. If you don't know where the screw are to remove the battery, you can find this info in the original user manual for the vacuum.Since the pre filters are washable, they should last for a while. The extra screws come in handy in case you strip the original screws. Personally, I would recommend using a better screw driver than the one supplied for removal and replacement of the screws.So far, this battery lasts as long as the original battery, and recharging takes an hour or so. I haven't had this battery long enough to access how long it will be before it will no longer charge, but I will update this review if my opinion changes.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I love it, easy to install and my vacuum works better than before

The installation instructions are minimal. Enough for someone used to doing household repairs, they are enough. But I am not good at repairs and I had to make more effort than I wanted to figure out the process. There is a Phillips screwdriver included with my purchase, but when I had someone else help me with the installation, he found it too small. We used a slightly larger screwdriver. Not sure if that was necessary. The screw on the original battery was very tight and we needed to use pliers to unscrew and remove it.PROS: A new filter and cleaning brush were included. A PhillIps screwdriver was included (it may have been a perfect tool if the screw in the original battery had not been so tight). The battery was pre-charged and could be used as soon as installed. (I have only used it once, so don't know about how long it runs or how long it will be usable. But right now, it works well.CON: instructions about removal of old battery (no information about this) and installation of new battery were too brief for someone not used to doing this type of repair.

The battery replacement for my Dyson v7 Motorhead worked perfectly since the 1st day I opened the box. It was shipped with some charge in it, which made me happy as I able to try it on my vacuum right away. I was also happy with the reasonable price and extra filters. I highly recommend this product.

Installed in about 2 minutes with a Phillips head screwdriver. Brought our Dyson back to life. Has a 4-bar battery light indicator instead of the 3-bar light the OEM battery had but other than that I didn’t really notice a difference. Would purchase again.

Replacement battery is working well with no issues. Saved a bunch of money not having to get a dyson battery.
