Very happy with it. Prons: great suction; power detect works very well, decent cable length, lift away allows the body to be detached without disconnecting the main cleaning head from the wand, some shark hoovers do not have this functionality so it can be hard to clean under furniture.Cons: can be too heavy for older people, you need some upper arm strength to operate it, be careful not to hoover over any cables or anything you dont want to loose or be destroyed, cable is a bit stiff so wrapping it around rack can be a bit awkwardI wound definitely recommend this hoover.

The media could not be loaded. I've always been a loyal Henry hoover user. However having 2 dogs, Henry just wasn't cutting it any more. So I invested in the shark lift away pet hoover, I loved it and named it 'the mummy shark' we then got a cordless version for quick jobs which was christened 'the baby shark'.After seeing someone using the shark power detect corded upright on social media I decided that I needed 'the mother mother shark' in my life.This is the best hoover we have ever used, blows the old shark out of the water so to speak, the suction power is second to none, the way it changes suction for different surfaces, the power is immense. It's great value for money.Everything is labelled well and it's so easy to use.The new shark is a little heavier than the old one but well worth it for the performance.The old shark still does a brilliant job at my parents house and is still going strong despite being 6 years old.

Really brilliant machine. The only down side is that it is quite heavy. It is a bit lighter when you use it just like a cylinder hoover for stairs. Cleans and picks up fine dog and cat hair easily from carpets and rugs. Was a bit more than I wanted to pay but this is my fourth Shark item and have been pleased with all purchases.

Replaced a Shark vacuum that was 5 years old and had become a bit tired (and maybe damaged by too much vacuuming builder's dust and stuff!). Chose this as it had everything, just about, that we wanted. Only thing missing is that the crevice tool has no integrated brush attachment. Suction is fantastic, perhaps a bit too strong as it doesn't reduce suction enough on doormats. The edge suction is terrific, it detects and boosts power along edges and easily sucks up stuff the previous model would have left behind. It is on the heavy side, even using the lift-off option, but it's manageable, particularly as we live in a bungalow so no stairs to cope with. Particularly impressed by the light on the hose when using hand tools, and all the lights when vacuuming too. And it looks good too!! Biggest disappointment was the price dropped by fifty quid days after we bought ours and Amazon don't care.

My shark was delivered today and I immediately set to work. It's the " Tiger Tank " of vacuum cleaners. Sturdy and well built, my carpets look new. It gobbled up long cat hair and cat litter with no problems. It's a heavy machine but it's worththe weight as it's works quickly and efficiently. It's well worth the money.

Brilliant hoover! Great on carpets and hard floors. Can't go over small fugs it sucks them up! I love the performance but find it heavy and it pulls forward all the time so it really finds your muscles! Or lack off ha ha!

I don’t know what kind of wizardry Shark packed into this dirt-detecting vacuum, but it’s as if it has a vendetta against dust. This thing doesn’t just clean—it hunts. The moment I turned it on, I swear I saw crumbs quiver in fear before being sucked into oblivion.Its “dirt detection” is so sharp, it found dirt I didn’t even know existed. I’m talking about stuff buried in the carpet since 1997. It’s almost insulting, like, “Oh, you thought you had a clean house? Hold my filter.”It is on the heavy side, however easy to manoeuvre, and weirdly satisfying to use—it’s the closest I’ll ever get to feeling like a professional dirt bounty hunter. And the suction? Let’s just say if my couch had secrets, they’re now in the vacuum bin.The only downside? My family keeps dropping crumbs just to “test” it, and now the Shark is their new pet. A clean freak’s dream, a dust mite’s nightmare, and a shark in a sea of lesser vacuums. Highly recommend!
