My husband and I have started axe throwing in a league and have real targets set up for our real (and sharp) axes in the back yard. These are a lot of fun for our adult children and older grandchildren, however, it is a bit much for the little ones. We got this target so they could throw too. It is really great. Some of these targets are just Velcro, which doesn't really work well. These use a system of silicone "fingers" that really grip the axes, arrows, throwing stars, and darts. It really works well. It was easy to assemble and only took us a few minutes to put together. The instructions are clear. The frame is mostly constructed of PVC pipe so it is light and durable. It's also a really cute design. My smaller grandkids can throw axes just like the "big kids" now and they really love it! Highly recommend!

My son got this for Christmas and set it up to use. One peg was already broken, but I told him it would be fine. After throwing one axe, more broke. After only 10 minutes of play, there’s several broken pegs and a broken star and axe. This is a very cheap set and it seems it is not made from the same materials as others like this. I wouldn’t waste your money.

Super fun! Love that it comes with so many types of weapons to throw. The bow and arrow makes this the best one of these sets we've ever seen.

Easy assembly, simple instructions, all plastic. The axes and throwing stars work very well, and the darts and yard darts work well also, but the bow is a very poor design. You thread the string through the holes and tie knots and hope they don't pull through. You have the flexibility to tie it as tightly as you can, which I guess is nice, but I'd rather it be assembled and work well out of the box. Overall, it's still a fun toy, and my kids prefer the axes and throwing stars to the other items anyway.

I should say I have given this thing a fair test for a couple of months now and I just don't think it's very well made. The piping which creates the stand was not that easy to assemble correctly because the instructions were not clear, and once it was assembled it's just too twisty to stay in place very well and this thing gets off balance easily and can fall over, which is no fun when you're trying to use it as a target. The throwing objects are not all that well balanced and I think that the small throwing stars are just a little too small and maybe even dangerous around windows. Another problem I have with it is that unless you strike the target with a lot of force it is not going to hold on to whatever you throw at it. Probably the thing that holds best is the brush darts, But those are oddly weighted to the front and maybe the least favorite thing to throw and definitely too heavy for smaller kids to throw. We ended up simply going with the more expensive one purchase that our local wholesaler club and I felt bad about that because I had high hopes that this one would work well. I really do like the colors come out but that doesn't help if the functionality is poor, and that was my experience with this target board and the various throwing objects.
