Anniyan is the tamil movie which is inspired from this book only i think. Great content in this book.It gives immense pressure how to raise a girl child without any tragedy things. But anyway men and women are equal. So every parents must sit and talk to their child and educate them.

I like the narration and the deep profoundness of the plot and character dynamicHowever the end was quite predictable and there should have been an element of twist .Rather an abrupt ending.

this is my first Sidney Sheldon Book and probably one of the top 5 best books I have ever read till date …Donot think or search for anymore reviews as anything about this book could possibly be a spoiler ..i would say one shouldn't miss this kind of a book (especially if he is a fan of Sheldon)Buy and own a happy reading !

I have no words to explain the roller coaster ride while reading this book...all hell to sidney sheldon...he is my 2nd favourite writer now ..After..Jules verne...super read...must read for every book lover

This was the first novel by Sidney I read. Story is good. Plot and theme are new and outstanding. However, I think the novel could have been a better one if there weren't too many unnecessary detailings. A few examples can be given. Like there was no needed too much detailing of the court proceedings and what one says to another. I would say Sidney used these unnecessary pages to advance the story and increase ghe number of pages!But, certainly, the ending is quite fascinating and leaves one in awe.For the climax, it could have been a little better if Sidney had tried to give 2 or 3 pages for the real thing to come out but it's just one paragraph that one gets to fall in an awe.

A Genuine THANKS to the team of AMAZON for such a smooth and superfast delivery, the book was delivered 5 days before estimated delivery date !Now. . coming to the book, this was my first SIDNEY SHELDON novel and I admit that this has increased my hunger of exploring more into the genre of fictional ThriLLers. I completed the book within a span of 4 readings in 3 days. The first half creates the ideal background of an engaging thriller, with twists and turns in the plot at ideal places, keeping the reader hooked to the story. The pace of the story has been impeccably maintained, so as to keep the reader guessing at the turn of every page.However, the second half of the plot seems a bit stretched, with unnecessary description of the court proceedings. But hold on. . . When you just about start to get the feeling of a predictale end towards the climax, there is something unusual waiting for you in the last page. There lies the beauty of the ending, it is implied with two small clues rather than being stated directly - if you realize it at the first attempt, you get the spine-chilling feeling of wrapping up a classic thriller !About the writer, creating a sensational story around such a controversial and complex medical issue such as MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER, that too more than 15 years ago, is indeed a work of praise. He has adeptly explored this challenging medical condition by linking it with an important issue like child abuse and sensitive human emotions.Highly recommended for all readers, especially those who enjoy pure unenpredictable suspense thrillers.1 STAR LESS for introducing unnecessary sub-plots and diluting the suspense effect at some places in the story.

This is my first book of sidney.. it tells us a good story telling about the ashley patterson who is obsessed with multiple personality disorder disease.. story is remarkable and suspense till the end. The one who is the fan of suspense crime must read this novel and explore it.. By reading this novel I am the big fan of sidney who is most fascinating and gripping story teller..
