Mackie Mix8 8 Channel Compact Mixer with Low Noise Performance

If you know what you want from your production, and you know you will do that for a long period of time. This is the beginners mixer you should go for, instead of any other cheaper mixer. The build quality is superb, sound is clear, the aux send receive works perfect and the mic response is good. Overall, very satisfying.

This mackie mix8 mixer is of good quality and original. The mixer showed low noise and acceptable clarity while I tested the mixer with a BM-800 condenser microphone. There is 48v phantom power for condenser microphone. There are two microphone inputs and 4 line inputs. There is a power adapter that works on 230 volts. The power adapter has a three pin output which seems to be a 9-0-9 volt ac output from a transformer. There is no USB interface. The line level tape output from the mixer can be connected to the line input of a PC using a stereo RCA to 3.5mm audio jack cable to record the sound in a PC. I have used the open source audacity software to record the sound. This mixer has pan control so that you can pan a channel to left or right stereo channel outputs.

works just fine, the product is good value for money, it does exactly what is says it will do, that is its a basic mixer which will take 8 channels that you can send as a output.it got my requirement done very easily.earlier i was paying 1500 rs rent taking a soundcraft mixer but that machine was not working properly hence i brought this and its worked awesome for me. it aint prefect for a advanced users who will need fx etc. but just for mixing its a great product.

arrivé sans aucune alimentation! un combe pour une table de mixage!!! De plus la table nécessite le modele d'alimentation avec connecteur mini din 3 broches qui est quais impossible à trouver. ultra décu de cet achat. pas digne d'amazon du tout.

This is a really easy to use bit of kit. No noise and sounds really good. Quality is very good. I couldnt find anything that wasnt top class. No faults and a seriously cheap price. Better than other made in china mixers. Yes I know its an Anerican brand, but its not made in USA, just designed there. But still, its great

Used this for a 2 DJ setup where we could mix between controllers so both DJs were performing at the same time and matching the other's beats and music while mixing.The item itself has pretty good heft and weight to it. I'm not sure if that means it's higher quality but it sure does feel like it. The controls are smooth and accurate. The 3-band EQ provides excellent control, and the entire unit adds a cleaner and amplified output stage. Basically it's able to amp the signal coming out of the controllers to a higher output level. This is good because we were able to add in Microphones, and get all the levels perfect and clean.The 8-channel version adds a lot of versatility for a DJ setup - you can run external mics, feed out to your main speakers and also to a separate area using the Control Room (CR) outputs while being able to adjust levels on both independently. You can also run your audio out (Tape Out) to a recording device, or to a videographers rig pretty easily.Overall, flexibility, control, and sound quality was very nice. I see complaints about the lack of a power button, but for DJs or for a band, at what point would you want this turned off and on during a performance anyway? Also keep in mind that this doesn't have XLR outputs, but according to the manual the 1/4" outs are TRS (balanced).
