CAMPLUX Nano 3 Pro, Battery Powered Portable Water Heater, 1 lb On-Demand Propane Camping Shower, On Ground Camp Water Heater & Shower Pump

My wife and I run ultras, half marathons and trail runs. Purchased this and a 26 gallon tank for the back of the truck. Now after runs, we can take a shower and freshen up for the ride home. It is amazing that you can plug this into your vehicle, connect it to a gas bottle, and wa la, you have a hot shower no matter where you are at.

My house is on a well and it went dry. In the meantime, I purchased this Camplux water heater to wash dishes and take showers. The temp of the water does vary a little bit but when taking a shower at no time does it drop to uncomfortable levels. I appreciate that the flow rate on the showerhead is low to preserve water.

The product did not work for me out of the box. It looked like it may be quality at first glance but then internally it was poor quality plastic and loose...it appears the ignitor was cheap plastic and unable to be adjusted and would not reach the gas properly to ignite it. I tried 3 different 1lbs gas bottles no no avail. It just allowed gas to fill the area which is concerning should it actually ignite. It would click for 30 seconds and stop for 10 seconds and then repeat for 30 seconds and then throw an E3 code. I contacted customer service spoke with John who was rude even when he was answering the phone and without really getting into the issue for troubleshooting started down a list of tasks for replacement. First simply requested a video, then a few days later requested another video and receipt, I suggested he send an email with instructions which he said he would but did not, then a few days later and email requested a serial number, then a few days later said a replacement has been shipped but that they could not provide any shipping details at this time and blamed "Amazon replacement processing". A few days later it had not arrived so I inquired again and then they claimed as soon as it was shipped they would let me know. I said you said the other day in an email that it was already processed and shipped which one is? A few days later I followed up once again via email and I get told they would notify me when it ships so I called and the lady on the phone was also very rude. I ended the conversation with I feel like this company has 3 people and you are all unable to support this product and from her reaction I must have struck a cord. After being blasted for 5 minutes I said I will rate this product accordingly and file a complaint. I sent one more email a few days later asking where my tracking info was because I was curious and the lady replied today and said I could just file a complaint. So I did. I just filed a return with Amazon for a refund and I am going to buy the nearly identical product from Bougie RV for less money and a known reputable company and it only takes a few minutes to file with the BBB so I should do that too. I don't know if it will help because this company will likely just change the Amazon store name and continue the sham. So my review is be weary. Very poor customer service and zero customer support. I did see good reviews and felt confident in this purchase when I ordered it but just now when I went to update my earlier review from last week I realized my review was no longer visible which makes me wonder how valid any of those other reviews are. I also blame Amazon for allowing these kind of sellers to behave this way.

Received and unboxed this shower unit August 2024. Had concerns with the charging feature and reached out to manufacturer via website email link. Received prompt response. After quite a few back and forth messages our issue was resolved.The shower itself is very easy to use. Hoses for inlet pump and outlet shower head attach and detach quickly and easily and seal well.Unit comes with DC charging cord. Charging port is standard size and we had an AC charging cord that fit unit already. There is a Learning curve to remembering to turn master power on for charging and off for transport. Leaving master power turned on between use will drain battery. On the plus side, the unit can be powered by external source (DC or AC) between charges.When showering external temp was 50 and water going into unit was 65 degrees. At this combination outflow water temp was 104 at quarter dial. We didn't test how hot we could run unit but did have to frequently turn down water as even half dial was producing 115 degree water which was far too hot for us.Propane hook up was easy and secure with both 1 pound tank and adapter for larger tanks.Unit LED display is bright and was easy to see in full sunlight. One drawback we found was the unit will time out after around 10 minutes of non use. After turning unit on and activating pump, gathering shower supplies and then getting undressed pump needed to be restarted to shower. This could have been avoided by being prepared before activating pump.Unit is very lightweight and compact yet sturdy and well built. We would definitely buy this product again.

The initial item that was received from Amazon was not working properly. It appeared that the burners ignited, but only partially which caused the water not to reach sufficient temperatures.I contacted product support at Camplux and they helped me work through the problem and they sent a replacement heater which works perfectly

This water heater is awesome! It throws plenty of hot water and has great pressure with just my garden hose hooked up. I like a shower on the hotter side and this thing delivers. Using the heater is simple and easy and I've been using it for two weeks without any issues with the actual heater.The cons of this product is the hose and sprayer are junk. The hose on mine blew open this morning when I used the shutoff on the nozzle. Luckily I was just about done my shower. The sprayer and the mount are plastic and feel cheap.The instructions are pretty awful. For a product that advertises it's "americanness" I was surprised to find directions that were written in pretty poor english. The instructions also were not very clear. There was a section on setting up the unit, and then a section on operating the unit which also had more and somewhat conflicting directions on setting up the unit, and then no section on shutting off the unit. I'm a pretty handy guy but the directions left me guessing on whether I was doing everything correctly.Buy this item for the hot water heater but plan to purchase your own sprayer before the stock one breaks on you.
