I do my fare share of wrenching day in and day out. So I've used quite a few brands and I will say so far, this kit holds up pretty well.I keep this kit in my truck for our road trips (break downstairs happen sometimes). So far it's come in handy and done what it needs to do.Good weight to them, whether the steel is strong or not im not sure but they held up for normal wrenching and repairs. I wouldn't use them as impacts but that's not what they are designed for.The ratchet gears are smooth and easy to transition between clockwise and counter clockwise.Good variety of sizes and extentions for the money and carrying case is nice and solid. Worth the buy for sure.

Overall great product. I have not used every socket in the set but what I have used are quality feel and look. Came in a carrying case. I was not expecting that. Great product for the price.

Very solid and sturdy. The sockets attached and came off easily.

I like the wide range of all the sockets I ever need, all in one place. Decent case could use better marking of pieces, but I enjoy the set. I bought a set of large sockets to update my total set.

Quality Set. Appears to be the same MGF as Tekton... although the case / latches are a bit lower end. I'm a professional mechanic and have no complaints about this set, especially considering the price point. Highly Recommend.

Tool set is very well organized and they slip right out of there and they seem to stay in there when it is closed haven't used them a lot I like the six-point cuz they don't strip bolts as easy,, I bought it so it's an easy grab to go set on the Run if you need a socket

This is a very nice set of six-point sockets in both SAE and Metric sizes and includes standard and deep sockets in the set. This set covers the most commonly used socket sizes and also includes a 3" extension, a 6" extension, a very nice 3/8" drive ratchet, and a custom molded, fitted case.The tools in this set are forged from Chrome Vanadium steel with a beautiful, polished chrome finish. The sockets each have their size deeply stamped into the side of the tool. I have referenced each socket versus several pieces of brand-new Metric and SAE hardware, and all had a reasonably tight fit. There was definitely no slop with any fasteners tested. I also measured the socket openings with a dial caliper and found no issues. While I do not have the ability to test the strength of the Chrome-Vanadium alloy itself (such a test would be fundamentally destructive in nature anyway), I have no indication that these tools are not up to the task at hand. That said, I have already put several sockets and the ratchet to use today, I had no issues, and I like how they feel in my hands.As stated above, this set includes 6-point sockets that are of a stress relieved design. This means that the sharp angles of the six inside corners of the sockets have been expanded and rounded to prevent the accumulation of stress and the eventual cracking and failure of the sockets. My old Craftsman 6-point socket set has a number of cracked sockets, all originating at one of the sharp inside corners. I have had several broken bones due to socket failures during use. The design of these sockets is purposeful and intended to lessen the likelihood of this failure mode occurring.The 3/8" ratchet is a 90-tooth design with a 4° swing arc so that even in cramped quarters small progress movements can still be made. The ratchet includes a quick release pushbutton design, and the overall shape and style of the wrench is reminiscent of the old Snap-On design, one that I like a lot. Included with the ratchet is a 3" and a 6" extension. No 3/8" Universal Joints or Wobble Joints were provided with this set.The SAE sockets provided include 20 total sockets. The case is molded in two pieces, including a top and a bottom section, and they are connected using true hinges. The top and bottom are secured using two black over-center hook-type latches with arrows indicating the "Up" direction to be observed when opening the case. The latches truly secure the case with little chance of accidental opening. A sheet of open-cell foam in the top of the case cushions the tools and prevents rattles. The case actually constitutes a 48th piece of the set.This is truly a very nice set of sockets and accessories. I particularly like the fact that it is a 6-point socket design since the fasteners are driven exclusively by the flats and not the corners. This results in no fastener corners being rounded off and no busted knuckles or broken metacarpals. I like the fact that the manufacturer did not skip any sizes of sockets in the series provided. Do you know how many metric socket sets do not include an 18mm socket these days? Too many is the appropriate response. One additional point to consider, while this is not sold as an impact socket set, the fifth graphic on the Amazon page states, "Easy Operation; They can be used with pneumatic tools, electric tools or driving tools". I am not sure I would use them with an impact wrench, but I would have no issue with using them with a pneumatic or electric ratchet wrench. I got this to put in the shed to work on the yard tool engines and leave the expensive, professional set in the garage to work on the cars. This $50 set rivals that pro set costing hundreds.
