Q: Does this definitely come with amplitube 5? the $349 version on ik website comes with amplitube 4 - $399 for one with amplitube 5.

The $399 one includes Amplitube 5 MAX...and the $349 one includes Amplitube 4 Deluxe apparrently, which is odd because the $299 (solo) includes Amplitube 5! For the extra $50, getting Amplitube 5 MAX is the way to go!

Q: Is there any latency issues like irig hd2?

I have NOT had ANY latency issues on Windows 10 and I've had it a couple months now. I've been extremely happy with it.

Q: What cables are needed to hookup to guitar?

Just a standard 1/4" guitar cable!

Q: Will this work with a cab, not an amp, and will it work with guitar rig on a mac (also as the audio out from the mac)?

It works with "Guitar Rig" on my PCs, it should work on a Mac, if the Mac has a 64-bit CPU and is running the specified OS level. It also works with Amplitube. It should be capable of being the audio output from a Mac, if the Mac meets the requirements. The line output of the AXE I/O is for feeding into a power amp for monitor speakers or to feed internally-powered monitors. There are also 3 days left in IK Multimedia's "buy one, get nine free" hardware/software promotion. A great deal if you can get in on it in time.
