Q: I'm wide does it poke you in the ribs or hips? can you use this on a recliner?

If your back width is about 16" or more, you might feel poke sensation. My back width is about 13-14" so I am comfortable. I don't have recliner so I can't tell.

YES -- I use it in the car and in my recliner. Works in all chairs that I have tried it in.

Absolutely! Also works in the car and on other types of chairs. I love it.

Q: What are the actual sizes of this cushion?.The description lists 2 different sizes Neither of which are of larger size then the normal cushion

The back lumbar cushion is the same size in both sizes.The wide back rest is wider for larger people and more comfortable for larger (200 pound plus) people.
