Great Megacom Autocatcher
My last Duomon broke and I got a small Brooks Autocatcher to replace it. Unfortunately, it was so small that it got knocked out of my pocket when hikione day and is now lost forever. This Megacom Duomon is the best Autocatcher I have ever had because:1. Don't have to tap a button on the Autocatcher to pair2. USB C fast charging (it charges quickly and the battery lasts at least a day and a half, I rarely turn mine off)3. Catches pokemon quickly (definitely more quickly than Brooks)4. Pairs with two accountsIt also has magnetic charging, but I don't really use that. It also seems very durable, far more than the previous Duomon... though I'm not doing any drop tests. There is an app, with tons of settings you can adjust as well -including auto-tapping for reconnecting - but I have only really used the app to turn the sound and lights down and that's it

Great accessory for pokemon go enthusiasts
My previous autocatcher was absolutely horrible compared to this. The Duomon3 is quick at spinning pokestops and will vacumn all pokemon that comes across my path while just walking around. The catcher will slightly struggle a bit when moving quickly however in something like a car however.Setup was extremely easy and I was able to connect two people to the device and reconnecting was as simple as pressing the symbol on the game compared to having to also press the button on the device on my old autocatcher. In my couple of days of ownership I was able to catch hundreds of pokemon without having to lift a finger. Battery life has been great as well with me leaving it on as I head to work and back for a couple of days without charging. The only reason why I'm removing a star is the poorly thought out wireless charging and magnetic solution. The Duomon3 was unable to be charged reliably on regular wireless phone charging pads. Thankfully it seems like placing it on a magsafe charger worked which brings me to the second minor issue that the magnets should have just been magsafe compatible or a metal ring. This would have made it extremely convenient to mount on the back of a phone or not having to rely on their dedicated wireless charger. The Duomon3 is also only limited to red Pokeballs. It cannot throw Great or Ultra balls.Despite this, this is a great investment for anyone who plays Pokemon Go on a regular basis. This device bought me back to playing the game and made it much more enjoyable.

Works great with 2 phones
I had the first version and I feel this version is built better. I like the ability to change the lights and vibration via the app. I can’t get the wireless charging to work with other wireless devices that I use with my phones so I guess you have to get the pro to get their wireless charger… that was a bit of a bummer, but the usb-c works well.

Actually connects to two phones
I have had countless mon catchers in the years I have been playing, including some that claim to connect to two different phones. Without fail, none of them have connected to two phones.....until the Megacom DuoMon3!I had the very first version of the Dual Catchmon. While it worked, and had a great range, it didn't connect. The DuoMon3 is a much smaller profile, has sound and connected to both phones with no problems at all. I was actually able to connect it to three different phones (but only using two accounts) and they all registered the unit immediately. The instructions are clear and give you the meaning of all the lights. Even if you don't want to look at the lights, the voice will tell you what is going on with the press of a button. I like that Player 1 and Player 2 have different voices (male/female) so you know which account you are hearing about. The USB-C recharging is also nice so I can charge it with the same cord as my phone without having to carry multiples when I'm out and about.I am extremely happy with the Digimon3. It is the first that actually allows me to connect to multiple accounts with no issue, has a nice, small profile and has the option for light and/or voice. At $75, it is in line with most others. With the functionality, I think it's well worth it.

Improvement over previous version
Pairing this auto-catcher to my phone (iOS) was really easy, and the app that goes with it (MEGACOMcenter) works well to do things like turn off sound. The device itself is smaller than the first edition. The battery being a built-in rechargeable lithium one also decreases the weight. The battery situation is a little bit of a mixed bag, or rather, it's a different thing to plan for. When the AAA batteries in the first edition died, you just popped in a new set and you were good to go again, for at least a week. With this one, the battery dies and you need to charge it. It's not a huge issue because the USB-C input is the same that almost every device is using these days, but it's still something to account for. And sometimes, you're gonna have to choose which thing gets to use your battery bank. Obviously, if you're planning ahead for a day of playing, you can charge it ahead of time.

Gathers lots of extras
This device is great. My teen son is using it with his Pokemon go account. He found it simple to setup and connect to his phone and account and it works, it cat Pokemon for him at home and away, it collects Pokeballs etc. He loves the extras that he's getting. His biggest 'complaint' is that he has to babysit his storage a lot more than he used to and is annoyed that he can't delete the excess of some mythical Pokemon that he now has. It would be great if there was a but more customization settings to limit or choose what it will try to capture or collect. All in all he loves it.
