I mean, who doesn’t love a raspberry-colored toaster? It adds a nice pop of color to my kitchen, which is mostly full of boring white appliances. But more importantly, it actually works with gluten-free bread. The high-lift feature is a game-changer because gluten-free slices are usually tiny, and in my old toaster, I’d have to perform some delicate finger acrobatics to get them out without burning myself. With this one? Just pop the lever up and grab your toast—no singed fingertips required.The browning settings are also surprisingly accurate. With gluten-free bread, you kind of have to find the sweet spot—too light and it’s still weirdly gummy, too dark and it’s rock-hard. After some trial and error, I found setting 4 works perfectly for my brand of bread, getting that golden, crisp edge while still keeping the inside soft enough to spread butter without ripping the slice apart.And let’s talk about the frozen bread function because I pretty much live off frozen gluten-free loaves (seriously, why is fresh GF bread always twice the price?). This thing actually defrosts and toasts evenly, which is a miracle in itself. I used to have to defrost my bread separately before toasting, which was just another morning hassle I didn’t need. Now, I throw a frozen slice in, press the button, and boom—perfect toast.I also appreciate the removable crumb tray because gluten-free crumbs seem to multiply like rabbits. I need an emergency toaster as my old one kicked the bucket randomly one evening and the thought of not having toast for breakfast the next day was a bit much for my carb-loving self! At the time of purchase, it was only £20, so quite the bargain, especially when I got it by 9 am. It's been a few months and still going strong, but It does seem quite flimsy, made of only cheap plastic. I have to say though, it does toast beautifully with 6 different toasting levels.You may want to go for something a bit more substantial for longer term. It is perfect for your average-sized bread, but can't hold much more than that. The pink colour is exactly how it's shown on the site, which is a cute bonus. Overall, pretty good for a basic emergency purchase

Bought this toaster in Dec 2024. Also bought the kettle ...had it less than 6 months looked after it and regularly cleaned it .. watch out if it stops working though as the 12 month warranty is not straight forward.. they will want to know what bread you used what date you cleaned it out a pic of the inside your shoe size etc etc etc ... I may not have a week to sit and provide everything they've asked for so it may be aswell to just go buy a cheap one that will last 12 months !! Just beware of all this when you buy ..

She does the job, she looks cute and she toasts to my preferences. Can fit two slices of bread or 4 pittas if you’re feeling wild.Smelled a bit like plastic the first few uses… has stopped now or maybe I’m immune.Great price, no proper complaints. If I didn’t already have another pink kettle I would have got the matching kettle
