I”ve had this case for several months now, and I absolutely love it. The case is sturdy, and the rotation feature makes it a real standout. Keyboard has a nice touch and has plenty of customization options. All that aside, I want to praise the customer service at Typecase. I called them with an issue which, as it turns out, had nothing to do with their product, but with a setting on my iPad. The representative on the chat was patient, and solved my problem, even though it became clear that it was not related to their product. It’s nice to find that kind of service these days, and I think it’s an important part of product selection.

This case is not lightweight; it feels very solid. It features a USB-C port for charging, just like the iPad Pro 13th Gen, and has an on-off switch. If I forget to use the switch, it automatically powers down when not in use, helping to save battery life. It's great for texting.The case grips the iPad Pro securely, ensuring it won't pop out. The hinge in the middle functions well without any wobble. I should mention that I also have an older 6th Gen iPad, which I used before upgrading. It came with a similar case and keyboard from the same company, and it worked great for many years. I expect this new case for my iPad Pro to last just as long.

I haven’t tried the Magic Keyboard so I can’t compare…but I’ve had this keyboard/case for about a month now and I love it! It’s exactly as it is described! I can’t imagine spending $300 or more on a keyboard and although I was skeptical of this cheaper one, I decided to give it a try. I am not disappointed and so glad I gave it a try! I will say that I believe the reviews that complain about connectivity, are talking about their iPad not connecting to WiFi/internet while in the case. I stayed at a hotel recently and my iPad wouldn’t connect to WiFi or the internet while in the case, but if I took it out it worked fine. Absolutely anywhere else I have had no issues and I’ve traveled a lot with this keyboard so far! Battery is exactly what the reviews say…lasts forever! Having to charge it separately isn’t an issue for me since I only have to do it every 2-3 weeks. Matter of fact I’ve only charged it once since I’ve got it. It saves battery life by shutting down when not in use. Idk why ppl are complaining about it shutting down, if I click a key or tap the mouse board it immediately connects back (no wait time at all). Maybe it’s their Bluetooth cus mine works fast! I also don’t know why ppl complain about the weight…you’re turning your iPad into a laptop essentially, so it’s gonna add weight! It’s not any heavier than any other laptop to me tho. I bought a simple carry case that’s a little bigger than the keyboard case so I can slide it in and out with ease, and have handles to carry it. Hate saying this but I did drop my iPad while in the keyboard case onto concrete from pretty high (not in a carry case). Didn’t damage anything not even the keyboard case, I was so shocked. The rotating screen is so awesome, I can’t believe how strong it is, I would’ve thought it’d be cheap like but it’s not. I’ve never had an issue with keys not working either, if I make a mistake it’s always on me not the keyboard…I type too fast for my fingers to keep up sometimes. Really the only reason why I took a star off is cus I want rainbow colors across the board at once like the pic shows. I guess changing from one solid color to another is better than not changing colors at all tho lol! I know some ppl could care less and just pick one color setting, but I’m a rainbow fanatic…the lights do work great tho and I have no issues day or night! I think they’d sell more if the lights could be rainbow across the keys at the same time like the picture shows, the key colors is what grabbed my attention to purchase this one and what made me choose this one over another. Seen another review that said they chose this one for the rainbow too…there is plenty of ppl like us! I highly recommend this case tho…it’s worth it if you don’t want to spend $300 on one!

Had gotten the iPad Pro 13” as a replacement for my IPad Pro 12.9” (4th generation) from Apple. Was excited for the free upgrade but disappointed my old Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil no longer worked. I refused to pay nearly $400 for the new keyboard (and apple offered me no discount, even though they provided me an upgrade due to an error on their end), so I searched the internet and couldn’t find a decent keyboard for less than $200. Until I found this one. It not only works well, but is light weight and protects my iPad way better than my old Magic Keyboard. It also has the cool backlight color changing feature that most keyboards don’t offer and the 360 spin/fold. It connects easily to the iPad (I have not experienced any lag) and the guard for the pencil is a feature I didn’t know I needed. All of this for less than $100 is a steal! Considering buying another one just to switch up the color (and I’d still be spending less than buying on of the “high end” keyboard cases). Definitely, recommend.

At first I thought it was ok at best as the touch pad is less than desirable as it is overly sensitive, hard to use and difficult to navigate with. But once the hinge gives out, it becomes utterly useless. I can no longer use this item. All it has to do is hold the iPad in place so that I can use the difficult keyboard, so now that it no longer holds the iPad in place, when I try to use it, my iPad gets slammed on my desk. If I slightly tough my iPad it falls. If I bump the desk, it slams my iPad on the desk. I am afraid this mechanism will break my very expensive device. I purchased this to make my work easier, not to break my property. I do not recommend this to anybody. In fact, I was trying to watch a movie and for no reason at all, it slammed closed as the hinge could not hold it anymore and so I stopped watching it to write this review because that scenario plays out over and over again no matter what. I have to place my backpack or something of the like behind the screen so that it can hold the screen up for me.
