1 out of 4 cats know to chew them
My cuddly cat Dexter has very bad breath and when he is getting his belly rubbed he likes to drool so after doing some research I decided to try these sticks for all 4 of my cats. They all went crazy when I took a few out and put them on the floor. Three of them laid on the sticks, licked the sticks, kicked the sticks and rolled around on the sticks. The only cat that knew to pick up a stick and CHEW on it was my cuddler with the very bad breath. He absolutely loves them but I have not noticed any difference yet so not sure if they actually work or not. I try to keep an eye on him while he has it so the stick doesn't get lost and it says to only let them have it for 30 minutes a day but that isn't always possible so there are 2 sticks somewhere in the house that I can't find. He gets bored with it after about 15 minutes but for those 15 minutes he is all about that stick! The other 3 cats don't care at all about the sticks.

didn't work for me
I wish I could say this worked for my kitty but they didn't. He's a very anxious cat so I thought this would be a great way to clean his teeth without being intrusive, but he didn't take to them. He got excited at first but only licked it for a bit and then lost interest. I dipped it in a big box of treats I had to promote him to chew and it worked! Except it started cracking almost immediately. I have a feeling this is something that may work better on younger cats to get them interested in them. My babe is 4 now. I'll be giving them to a family member with a kitten. I'll adjust my review if it works for them!

Almost as good as catnip, not quite
I bought these because I have one cat on whom Cat nip has zero effect, and I read that this might do something for him. He definitely took a liking to it, as did my other cat who catnip *does* work for, but the effect just didn’t seem to be quite the same. Overall, the cats were both playful and happy and chewed on these (Great for their teeth), even if this didn’t seem to be quite as potent as catnip. Not sure if that’s because of this brand of product or because of the plant itself

Cats Love Chomping on These!
I have three cats: a 16-year-old, an 11-year-old and a 1-year-old. They all love catnip; they eat it, roll in it, etc. My youngest cat is kind of a jerk sometimes (he's still learning the do's and don't of being a cat) and he recently has taken to chewing the corners of all of our tables. I wanted to give him a chew toy but it seems that KONG does not make chew toys for cats. I found these and am so glad! All three cats rub on these, roll on these, 'bunny kick' these, and munch on these. The baby really chews on the sticks, he absolutely loves them and he has stopped chewing the corners of our tables.

Effect not long-lasting and my cat has no interest in using it as a chew toy (which is why I bought it)
My cat, who loves catnip, likes this stick when it's brand new. He rubs it on his head although he rarely bites it so it doesn't work as a chew/dental toy. After a few minutes he loses all interest. Once a stick is used he doesn't want it and I have to give him a new one. Overall doesn't seem worth it for us.

Not so much
So far, not so good. Two cats; I’d like to promote their dental health. They moved the sticks around, sniffed the sticks, lay down and spread their entire furry bodies over the sticks and proceeded to stare at each other. When the one got up, the other stole her stick, and lay down on both of them.

A waste of money, but had to try something
I bought this for my kitten in hopes that she would chew this instead of our cords. Fat chance! Apparently this isn't nearly as inticing as my daughters ear buds. These sticks are kinda messy too. The bark gets everywhere. She chewed it for a hot minute and then moved on.I missed the fact that these have cat nip in them too. Don't ask me how, I'm really not sure. It's something I read. My kitten doesn't need catnip. She needs to calm the frack down!😂If given the choice, I wouldn't buy again.

Splinters
My cat loves these. He smells them and rubs his face on them. Finally, once the scent had worn of a little, he started to chew them. He’d only chewed for a couple minutes and it started to splinter. I don’t like the idea of him accidentally swallowing pieces of splintered wood. No go for us.
