the MagSafe strength to hold your phone is very strong. i bought a separate MagSafe sticker to put on the outside of my phone case. my phone case is on the thinner side and this does wirelessly charge my phone while in the case. i tested the Magnetic hold by putting my phone on it and then slinging the device around. my phone never move. the built in vent mount is very nice. the retractable hook that goes around the vent louvers allows you to really snug the device down to keep it sturdy. The sound quality isn't bad for being transmitted over a FM frequencies as to be expected. the included AUX cord may provide a little better audio quality. i am very impressed with this setup and would recommend it.

The main thing I wanted this gadget to do is transmit over FM, and it does it well. It works a lot better than the old transmitter I had years ago; I didn't have any trouble with the signal once I had it tuned in. I used the aux cable to play sound over the radio, and was suitably impressed with the audio quality. The threshold it has to clear is really low, admittedly, but nothing about it left me wanting. It wasn't static-laden or cutting in and out, so it's a win for me.

Product was working great until day 31. Now when charging a phone and have Bluetooth connected the unit turns off and on constantly until you remove the charging phone then the Bluetooth stays on. I have two stars cause the mounting hardware is excellent, unfortunately that’s not why I purchased it. There is no way to turn off just the charging and that is only half the reason I bout it so except for the Bluetooth working without having a connected phone this unit is worthless to me cause I can’t even use it as a phone mount. Every once in a while the connection between the unit and the stereo seems to not be able to connect and just get static on the stereo. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone if the charging and Bluetooth connection issues are a problem with every unit.Update- September 13, 2024In response to an offer from the company to refund my purchase price for my unfortunate experience…I have fixed the issue and will keep the unit. I changed the supplied charge cable with a usb-c to usb-c and have it plugged in to a dedicated 20w 12v outlet in my vehicle and it works as described now. The supplied cable did not provide enough power from a standard usb charging slot of 5v. While the instructions don’t mention needing the extra power to supply both the charger capabilities and the Bluetooth transmitter at the same time, it should come with at least the cable needed to insinuate the type of power it does need, like a usb-c to usb-c. I’ll keep it as your base to an air vent is one of the best applications I’ve seen and used.

The transmitted audio sounds like a phone call, low-quality sound, even if it’s music. Not a fan of that, but it will do for now.

I was hoping this device would work well, not so much though. It took me a while just to figure out how to mount it on the vent, was afraid I'd break my vent. I was able to secure on there okay. I have an iPhone 14 pro max. The MagSafe holds on okay, but its not a super strong magnet, so I have to be careful not to bump it or it will fall off.The Bluetooth transmitter works as described for the most part. You may get some static just depends on the connection, tuning into certain stations. The sound quality is good and it does the job to charge my phone. I mainly need it to listen to the radio, so I am pleased with the device. Overall, it does the job for the price you're paying.

Don’t waste your money! This thing stops charging after a few seconds, if you lift and charge again it work for few seconds then stops!I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN THIS JUNK BUT AMAZON FLAGGED ME FOR RETURNING “TOO MANY” JUNK/DEFECTIVE ITEMS!!

This combined everything I needed in a pinch. I needed a bluetooth to FM transmitter for an older car until I could replace the radio. This item provides both at MagSafe phone mount and the BT to FM transmitter in one unit. The led readout and controls allow for easy adjustment of channels and unlike some FM transmitters, it appears the full range of FM frequencies can be used. Some transmitters only have select frequencies at the top or bottom of the FM range. Sound quality is surprisingly good and as long as you can find a clean channel, this provides a decent solution to a radio without bluetooth or aux input. Obviously direct aux input would sound cleaner but with highway noise and such, I think the difference would not be very noticeable in practical use.
