Q: How much gph it pumps?

It depends on your head pressure. There is a graph located in the middle of the product description. How high you have to push the water (total head pressure) will affect your output of the pump. For instance at 10 feet of head the pump is pushing 45 gpm approximately. I can tell you I use this pump to pump out large 33,000 gallon pools, large 20,000 fountains and also pumping out my driveways when they flood in Phoenix. It works very well. I recommend you also buy the extension hoses which helps alot when redirecting the water to a drain location.

Q: I want to use this to drain a pool that has a LOT of leaves in it. Do I need the 3 inch discharge for this?

No 3" discharge is overkill for your application. I use this to drain very large fountains with large amounts of debris with no problem with a 2" discharge. It drains large spas in seconds and large 16-32 k gallons pools very quickly. hope this helps.

Q: What’s the difference between 1 pack and 16/3 besides the $200 difference?

The "1 pack" should give you the exact same pump as the "16/3" option. It seems to be a listing error that we're trying to fix at the moment, but the "16/3" option is the single pump that's commonly sold by several sellers and has multiple reviews.
