Bought specifically for longevity, only time will tell on that. So far, I love it!
I have been through 6 or 7 dehumidifiers over just the past 11 years. None have lasted more than around a year, with some failing sooner. In every case they failed due to refrigerant leaks. When buying this latest one, I did a bunch of research before pulling the trigger and settled on this one specifically based on their claim that these are '[...] designed for No-Worry use for at least 5 years under normal transport conditions.' I'd say our use is very much 'normal', yet none have lasted long. They mention the type of compressor they use as well as using thickened, 7mm pure copper tubing. In addition to all that, the 3-year full-coverage and 5-year compressor warranties give me peach of mind that if the unit does fail, they will replace it with a new unit - new, not repaired or refurbished. The most important thing for me is a unit to works well and lasts so I don't have to keep buying new ones (what a waste of money and stuff ending up in landfills.)Beyond the above, the unit itself is awesome! It is by far the quietest I've owned when running on the 'low' fan speed'. The 'high' speed is substantially louder, but it's not an obnoxious noise - just the sound of air blowing. The compressor is extremely quiet. The controls are all backlit and very easy to read. Operation is simple. It has modes for maintaining a set humidity level, continuous, and an 'AI Auto' mode, which I believe adjusts humidity between 45%-55% based on temperature. It sets it lower when the room is warmer and higher when it's cooler. You can also adjust the lighting to one of four modes; 'off' (only turns on for around 10 seconds when you touch the control panel, 'bright - with the ambient light that shows humidity level', 'bright', and 'dim'.The unit is very compact; the smallest I've seen for this capacity rating. The water tank is also small, but I'm using continuous draining into a condensate pump, so I don't care about the internal tank. It comes with several feet of plastic tubing for this purpose. It's still pretty heavy, about the same as any other unit I've owned, but it has wheels and concealed handles for easy movement. We're using this in our fully finished, insulated garage that gets very humid in the Georgia summers. We have a lot of things stored in there and want to keep the humidity level moderate. Plus, we have our workout equipment in there and it's much more comfortable to work out in lower humidity. All things considered, so far, I love everything about this unit and I'm praying it really does last as long as they say it will. I feel confident in its quality build and even more confident in their warranty, which is the best I've seen for a dehumidifier, without having to purchase an extended warranty. For these reasons, I highly recommend this product.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So I bought this Dehumidifier more so for my Bathroom but me living in a Large Studio Apartment & this covering 4,500 Square Feet it easily covers the entire Apartment. I had never owned a Dehumidifier so I was not really sure what to expect but I must say I am Very Impressed for it has made a huge difference. You see my Bathroom has TERRIBLE Ventilation because there is No Bathroom Window & the Ceiling Fan literally is worthless & does nothing to help the problem. I decided to buy this Dehumidifier & a Table Top/Wallmount Fan to help & in all honesty the Fan helps yes but at this point was not really even needed. This Dehumidifier has kept my Ceiling & Walls Completely Dry even with my Long Hot Showers. Not to mention after living here for 6.5 years & just last year starting to get Mildew Spots because of the moisture it seemed like once it started even though I was cleaning them they kept coming back & I was hating always having to worry about them BUT NO MORE. This Dehumidifier has me finally relaxed on that situation. For the money I feel this thing is definitely worth the investment if your thinking about getting one not only because of how well it works but I have noticed a much needed difference in Air Quality through my Apartment. One of my Favorite features is between 2 things & that is Rest Mode for when I go to sleep at night because it is IMO Very Quiet yet the very little sound it makes provides me a Comfort towards my Sleep Quality & also the Auto Shut Off for that really helps for if I fall asleep & it is running or if I leave the Apartment & forget to shut it off. I normally myself only have to empty the tray about 1 time a day & so the Capacity in which it holds is very satisfying. I definitely give this Dehumidifier a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ easily.

A decent 50 pint dehumidifier
This is probably my fourth dehumidifier in 10 years. This is replacing a Vellgoo 50 pint/day unit, which lasted exactly 2 years before it started to run frequent defrost cycles indicating low coolant. I bought this because of good reviews, claimed efficiency, and 3 year warranty. My basement is 1250 sq feet, unfinished, and stays around 65 degrees F. I have instrumentation that records the temperature, humidity, dehumidifier output, and power consumption, and logs it to Google Drive.I plugged it in and set it to Automatic mode. As of now, it has run for 6 days, 14.3 hours. In that time it has used 43.8 KWh for an average of 280W. It has averaged 15.4 pints/day of water removal and kept the air at 53-54% humidity. The Pros:1) It feels solid and well built.2) It was very easy to set up and get running.3) It is a little quieter than the Vellgoo unit it replaced, although for my use it doesn't matter.4) It's keeping the space at a decent humidity level. The Cons:Only 1 - The seller claims "Most Efficient" Energy Star rating and "utilizes Cutting-Edge High-Efficiency Rotor Compressor", but I don't see any improvement over the previous unit. This is important to me, as I have an efficient house that used only 420 KWh last month. This dehumidifier will account for almost half, or about 200 KWh, of that. To be fair, the previous Vellgoo used the same amount. The Hope:Efficiency aside, if this unit lasts 3 years or more I'll consider it a good buy. Only time will tell if the claims are marketing hype or design and manufacturing expertise.
