Purchased this to use as a replacement for the SSD that came in a mini PC I bought to use as a router - if it failed to run the router package I wanted to be able to fall back to Windows without a huge effort and $20 for that luxury seemed liked a fair deal.Under Ubuntu 24.04 it works fine. Boots quick and has been solid for a couple days now. If anything changes I will update, but it seems like a solid use of $20.Update: I installed IPFire on this to run a mini PC as a router, it worked fine and has had no issues. Still a solid use of $20.

The drive is faster than the one it replaced. I upgraded my Lenovo Ideapad stock hard drive. I cloned the drive in Linux and then moved the partitions to extend Windows partition. Works great.This drive is actually quite fast for the price. This is a nice little upgraded hard drive for really low budget laptops. I would really recommend it if that's what your intention is because there are more expensive drives out there with this capacity that are slower.

It's a high quality, genuine Western Digital drive - there's not much more to be said. Fixed my failing firewall and sped boot times way up. Just be sure that the atypical length of the drive is appropriate for the port you're installing it in.The drive was packaged with far more care than I expected from a spare parts vendor.I'll be keeping an eye out for this supplier next time I have repairs to do.

Dead on arrival. Tested on multiple computers and even bought a nvme case to test it out. Very disappointed. Ordered a replacement hoping this one works.

Mainly for gaming and watching movies ssd arrived in generic packaging but runs games fine and great performance! Used on x570 am4 motherboard.
