Bought for my grandson and he loves it.

This is the cutest pencil sharpener I have ever seen, and I am glad that it comes in different colors. I got the green one, and it is nice, but it’s good to know that it comes in different colors too. With this pencil sharpener, you can adjust how sharp you want your pencil and I thought that was a significant feature as you may not want a young child to have an extremely sharp point. But this is good for all ages. When I first got this pencil sharpener, my first thoughts after I charged it were okay where are my pencils. When you are an adult, you forget that pencils need sharpening until you go to reach for one and it doesn’t write. This pencil sharpener replaced one that I had previously that broke, and it sharpens good. Adults will find it cute since it looks like a robot and children will find it fun since it looks like a toy and they just can’t help themselves. Just make sure that they put nothing into it that isn’t a pencil as it will break. This product isn’t fragile, but it should be used by children with an adult present. I like that you can see into it and watch the pencil sharpening, and if this makes me laugh as an adult, I can imagine what this will do with a child so, adult supervision is key.The one thing that I would change about this sharpener is that I wish that there was a light on the inside where the window is that illuminated the inside when it sharpened pencils. It would look really neat and possibly satisfy a youngster’s curiosity. Also, every once in a blue moon, a pencil gets stuck when it gets ejected from the sharpener. It’s doesn’t happen enough that I would get rid of the feature, but it can happen. Especially if the pencil is pushed down too firmly into the sharpener. I give this cute little robot 5 stars. This sharpener is well worth the money and I love it. It sits on my desk as an eternal reminder that we all are big kids inside and never really grow up.

This automatic pencil sharpener works very well and looks fairly nice. Using the sharpener is intuitive—stick in the pencil, the device pulls it down, and it will pushes it back out when it is done. When you push in the pencil, it goes straight down; but when it pushes it out, it sits at an angle, which makes it easy to grasp. It worked for both round and hexagonal pencils. My favorite feature is the dial at the bottom which allows you to select three levels of sharpness. Level 1 is extremely sharp, level 3 is quite blunt, and level 2 is similar to what most electric sharpeners produce (and it was just right for most uses). Regardless of which setting you choose, the results are consistent between pencils. The top twists off so that you can empty the pencil shavings.The clear opening in the middle is a nice feature, but the whole process only takes about a second or two, so there wasn’t much to see. The overall size and design is nice. It easily fits in your grip and it is not too heavy. I like that it is portable, but it is not sometime I would want to carry around daily. The nodes on the side of the head have a rubbery texture, which is nice to the touch. But both the nodes and eyes are cosmetic and are not functional (meaning that the eyes are painted on and do not light up, and the nodes are not buttons). In fact, there were no buttons to turn the sharpener on or off. While my fingers didn’t fit, I wonder if young children might be able to fit their fingers into the pencil slot. Without an on/off button or an easily removable battery, I will not let younger children use this without supervision.Overall, I would recommend this AFMAT Fully Automatic Electric Pencil Sharpener. It is easy to use and produces consistent results. It is conveniently portable (in terms of its size and long lasting battery) and has an attractive design.

LOVE this Adorable Pink AUTOMATIC (!) Pencil Sharpener! First - it is almost hands free...just inset pencil and this little guy does the rest!! It automatically, gently pulls the pencil down, and does its sharpening magic, then gently pushes it back up for you to start drawing, writing, designing, and creating! The see-through window lets up see when he needs to be emptied. Just unscrew the top and empty the shavings. Easy-peasey! YES, Highly Recommended 😀!

This is my third sharpener from this brand and it is absolutely amazing! I love the auto sharpen feature because kids always hold them inside too long. It is east to charge and the robot feature is adorable. AFMAT sharpeners are easy to use and knowing when to stop is easy to hear. They sharpen quickly and are better than some name-brand pencil sharpeners I have had. They can withstand daily use from 125+ students and still sharpen as good as the first use. Classroom approved!!

This works great for standard pencils. I am an artist and tried a few of my softer pencils and it was really not the right machine for those! Only your standard 2H or harder pencils really. The robot look is super cute. It's definitely the biggest pencil sharpener I've ever used. I think it would be fun in a classroom setting and would inspire children to sharpen their pencils.

I bought this automatic pencil sharpener for my wife.She has an old style pencil sharpener that never allows her to to actually sharpen her drawing pencils to be as sharp as they could be.She likes it alot, it's performance is pretty impressive.She also like a it's appearance as well.The ability to adjust the point shape makes it a good value for the money.Sharpening is fast and easy, just press the pencil in and the sharpener takes over.

Those manual ones suck, half the time you end up breaking the tip before it's sharp enough. Most other electric ones just keep grinding and a kid can quickly kill a whole pencil if they aren't paying attention. This one takes all that worry away. Insert, it sucks it in, grinds it and pushes it out ready to use. Nice sharp tip. My kid wants to take this to school...I'm not sure it will fit in his desk but he's determined to make it work. Cleaning it was pretty painless too.This thing is great.
