Great product!
I really love these shears! They are very comfortable to use and can be adjusted for a wide grip. The lock and strap are very convenient. Thank you!

Seems to fit my needs
I haven’t really used it extensively to make a thorough review; however, I did test it out and from this, it seems very adequate. It is sharp and easy to use. I like the fact that it can be locked in the closed position. It fits much better in my palm than those I used perviously..

VERY SHARP SHEARS - I LIKE THEIR LOOKS
These are a unique addition to my collection of garden tools. They are great for shaping my garden mums and edging areas too delicate for a string trimmer.

Great Sheers
Great sheers! I'm using them for gardening, which I think these should also be advertised towards gardening as they work great and will definitely reach a wider audience. They are super sharp and have no issue cutting stems in the garden. The large wooden handles are also very comfortable and make it easy to use them without straining your hand. Definitely a new go to in my garden tools.

Great for yard work
These are rather lethal looking hand shears, to be honest. I found them sharp and easy to use on the tall grass along my fence line, however, although I will need to build up my hand strength. My husband grew up on a sheep ranch, however, so he quickly snatched them up and gave them a lookover. He wasn't crazy about the wooden handles ("not sure I like these wood pieces here"), but then went over into regaling me with the proper way to cut fleece from a sheep with the things. Honestly, I have no idea how that could be done without impaling the poor animal, but he assures me these are the tools of choice for such a job--or electric shears, of course. Since we dont' and won't own any sheep, these will be consigned to grass and deadheading marigolds.

Neat tool
Review for: Berry&Bird Hand Shears, Single Bow Straight for Wool Sheep Shear for Alpaca, Pet, and Horse Shearing, Stainless SThese are neat to use in the garden for lightweight trimming tasks - grass, soft stems, trimming flowers and veg.As a Vine reviewer I try to provide good information. My scale:Most things will start at 4 stars. It gets that extra star only if it is outstanding. It loses stars for issues- bad sizing, poor quality. One star if is is not suitable for purpose or for gross misrepresentation.

Another Great Berry & Bird Product!
As a new gardener, my husband bought me a Berry & Bird set of hand tools a couple of years ago, and I have loved and used them nearly every day since then. They are so well made that I consider these heirloom products. When I saw these hand shears pop up, I had to try them. They are very sharp and perfect for snipping suckers from trees, pruning roses, and trimming bushes. We're big on quality products that can be used for years to come, and these certainly fit that category. They can be resharpened repeatedly, so you're not constantly purchasing new shears. Heirloom quality and five stars!!

Sharp, wooden handles help with hand fatigue
I own alpacas and llamas have used many different brands of shears like this. What I liked about these is not only are they sharp, but the wooden handles help with hand fatigue. The locking mechanism is also a nice addition. While I don't plan on shearing a whole animal with these, although I could if it was needed, they are great for touch-ups, especially around the face, and I have also used these to trim up the dogs' legs and rear and remove the occasional mat.
