Exactly what we ordered.

It was a gift for a child who had ear, nose & throat surgery. He really liked it.

This is NOT Lego branded and it shows. We built the first set (me and my 6 year old) and the ambulance came together pretty well. We were getting along swimmingly and moved on to build the emergency room/hospital.The first time, the building collapsed. Fine. Maybe too much pressure, not enough patience, whatever. Then... the next morning. I heard it. The sound of a billion off-brand building blocks scattering to the floor. My son, bursting into tears that he had broken it again.This continued to happen through the build and has been the single most difficult brick-construction I've ever done. Not to mention several pieces were missing.As it "stands" the building doesnt sit flat. My kid is about to come home (after me spending all day building it AGAIN). We'll see how long it lasts when he goes to play with it. =/Do yourself a favor and get yourself real Lego. These sets will traumatize you and your whole family.

This is extremely difficult even for adults. Not for 6+. This is not legos. Legos snap in easily. This you have to force in place which causes everything to break apart continuously and you're back tracking over and over.

Great set! nice that there are three different options to build. Instructions are clear--only one issue with which bags to open, but we just opened all of them and found what we needed. Otherwise, it was easy to follow. Pieces fit together well, compatible with regular Lego brand and other building bricks. Great set for a great price--makes a perfect Christmas or birthday gift. Highly recommend this product!

Great for a 7 year old.

It's not legos... but it might as well be. The bricks are basically the same. (Although my son noticed some different types of bricks he hasn't seen before with lego)The nice thing about this set is it can be put together different ways. My 11-yr-old initially built it in a couple of hours, but since then, has taken it apart and rebuilt multiple times. The ambulance is really cool, and there are tiny details to notice.I don't love buying non-legos to mix into our general lego collection, but this is one that I think we'll keep separate and contained for rebuilding.

Some of these "compatible with Lego" sets are kind of hit or miss, but this one has been great. The instructions aren't as easy to read as others, but that only slowed my son and I up a little bit. Once it was put together, it's been great, and being able to use the bricks with other sets/Legos has been fun. Definitely recommend it.
