Straight from the garden hose? well....
I tried straight from the garden hose. I mean... Didnt really work. Sorta?I do have a pressure washer but havnt tried it yet..Sorry to be only half on this.

I got results.
Sprayed well. I like the flexible tube holding the nozzle. I made the pole shorter, turned on, the it slid back up, even though I tightened it. I wish the shutoff valve was below the nozzle instead of where it connects to the hose, very tricky when maneuvering.

Clean gutters of 2 story house without a ladder
Used this to clean out gutters 2 stories above my deck - 3 stories over the ground. No ladders required and the gutters are no longer overflowing due to leaf debris.

Our gutters are too high
We live in an old Victorian and the gutters on the second floor are Way out of reach of our extension ladder. We had hope this product would give us the extra length needed. It did but it didn't clean out the debris in our gutters.

Works fine, lacks directions
It comes with several washers. I wasn't sure what to do with them. They were not included in the directions. When I was using the tool, I got soaked, that is how I figured out what to do with the washers.

I wanted it to work
I wanted this to work because climbing a ladder just isn't safe. The aluminum extension was perfect for height and was sturdy. However, hooking up a hose is where the problem started and things got worse after that. I believe the biggest issue is the fact that plastic is relied upon where the hose connects to the aluminum extension pole. I tried the two combinations they outline in the enclosed instruction manual and it always seemed to leak. (I had the correct gaskets in place as I checked those) I was careful not to over tighten the connection for fear of breaking the plastic connection. In any event I got more water on me that in the gutter. The final straw was the very adjustable end attachment that you used in the gutter at the end of the aluminum extension. It also has a plastic connection and a wrench is provided to tighten that connection. However, once again this connection is metal to plastic and over tightening can't be achieved or something will get broken. All I can say is this became more frustrating than it was worth. I had to return this item.
