This is my 3 case in 3 years for my remarkable. The first got dirty really fast and was unable to be cleaned (I had a fuzzy finish). The second had a pen holder in the back that stretched out. Additionally I was unable to carry it with other books/computer and lay it flat. This cases fixes all of that. It has a great place for your pen and the tips (it is nice to have them handy. I can easily clean it and I can prop it up for easy writing.I get complements on the design all the time.

This case for the Remarkable 2 Tablet is the best of those that I've tried over the last year on both my wife's and my tablets. It fits perfectly, looks and feels nice, and not only holds the Marker Plus pen but also came with 5 spare nibs (which can be stored in their own compartment built into the case) and a nib remover tool. Although I was a bit hesitant about this cover opening upwards I've found that it actually works better, and is more streamlined, than the standard book style sideways opening. I like that the case came with a pen compartment, but after a few months it won't close and the pens are falling out. I also wish you can rotate the case from portrait to landscape when it's on the stand but it only works on portrait.

This works as designed. The quality is great and the best part this leaves you with the option to store the stylus and additional nibs which the factory option doesn't (and is way cheaper). I honestly thought I would like this more than I did. I didn't care for the process of opening it over the top. Not the fault of the product, just personal preference. Otherwise it's a nice cover, cheaper than buying the factory option and does well to keep the remarkable safe and organized.

I loved when people noticed my reMarkable in this case. I got lots of compliments on it, and it has the added advantage of being more inconspicuous if laying out somwhere it might be stolen. Perfect little compartments on the right-hand side for the pen and extra nubs.

I love the composition book design on this case! It has a nice, sturdy texture on the outside and might feel a bit sturdier than my reMarkable keyboard case. I'll still use my keyboard case when I know I'll need it, but for the days when I'm all stylus, this is a great case that I can trust will endure my carelessness. The corners of my tablet are more protected in this case than my OEM ones - I've dropped my reMarkable 2 before and dented the corner while it was in the OEM folio case.I have a 3rd party stylus that works just as well as the nicer reMarkable stylus (my OEM one broke) and that stylus fits in this case and attaches magnetically as well. It's easy to get the stylus in and out of this case and I don't have to worry about the stylus detaching while in my bag (and breaking again). I appreciate the little compartment for extra nibs too - not the easiest to get them in and out of though as I've just ended up spilling them all out and putting the rest back. Would have been cool if they found a way to tuck a nib replacement tool in here somewhere too.One of the more unique features of this case though is that I can angle it upwards in portrait orientation and still rest my wrist on it to write. The magnet that holds it in place is surprisingly strong and stable - it doesn't bounce or give too much as I am writing, so it makes for a very stable surface for writing even tilted up.Overall, a great unique case to have even if you already have the reMarkable keyboard folio or other OEM cases. I think this case can take more abuse than the OEM ones and looks neat too.

I have owned several cases for my reMarkable. This is my favorite by far. I really like the fact that it opens upward--you would think that's an odd choice, but it is actually very natural for this type of writing and reading implement.When you prop it up, it actually stays in place, unlike so many other cases. It seems to have better friction or something.It's secure and protective when it is closed, and I really like the color. By the way, if you spill water on this, it beads up and rolls off. Nice.A lot of times you can't tell quality from the pictures and descriptions, but this is a better quality and design than others I have seen and used. Recommended.

The case is heavy and thick. Heavier than the Remarkable device. Avoid this case unless you want a tank to protect your device.
