Usin it to hang all ma piktures
Well, let me tell ya, this stud finder is the real deal! I got it off Amazon, and it works like a charm—found every stud in my walls quick as a whip. I used it to hang up some heavy mirrors, and sure enough, it led me straight to the solid wood, no guesswork needed. The beeps and lights are easy to read, and it’s way more accurate than those old-school knock-and-hope methods. If you’re fixin’ to do any kind of wall mounting, this little gadget’s worth every penny. Wouldn’t hang a thing without it now! Betta safe than sorry ya nifty folks :)

Great purchase!
absolutely LOVE this stud finder. i had purchased a cheaper finder previously and it was such a pain, i left mt TV unmounted for a year. rearranged my room after receiving it and just got my TV mounted last night. made it nice and easy for me to figure out and mount myself! it works amazing. very light weight and easy to handle. once you find the center of the beam, it beeps consistently as long as you hold it in place with a very clear indication of the center and i absolutely LOVE that. definitely recommend!!

Works better than my old one and is simple to use.
Impressed with the stud finder. Did a better job than my old Black and Decker one. I like that it finds the exact center of the stud and worked great.

God enough for me!
Works well in my opinion but I’ve never mounted a tv so I’ll update afterwards if the TV does or doesn’t fall out of the wall lol 😅But the instructions are simple and it’s pretty straightforward. I set it to the deepest it could detect a stud (1.5”) just because I don’t feel like cycling through the other depths. It even tells you which way to go to find the stud and has a notch at the top where you can mark the spot it centers on, so I’m happy. I hope mounting this TV goes well! I’ll update with pictures after it’s done!

Seems to work well
The battery that came with this was no good but once I got a different battery it turned right on and seems to work well at finding the studs in my house and also the hot wires in the walls.

Accurate and easy to use
I tested this stud finder right out of the box, and it works impressively well. The detection is accurate, picking up studs consistently in different areas of my walls. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and simple to use—just power it on, run it along the wall, and it gives clear indications when a stud is found.I haven’t used it for a full project yet, but in my initial tests, it performed reliably. It also seems to work through drywall without false readings, which is a big plus. If you’re looking for a dependable and user-friendly stud finder, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Has no reliability
In the Stud mode, the scanner continued to flash CAL (Calibrate). Instructions say "Note: In cases of the screen "CAL" icon flashes and the buzzer alerts when moving the device, it may be incorrectly calibrated, please move the device to a different position to re-calibrate." That made no difference. But then I found where the instructions say "Note: It is important to wait for the calibration completed (2-3 seconds) every time before moving the device." That did work, but it takes a few more seconds than that.It gives different results on stud location when I keep passing over the same area. I only use 1-1/2" mode to identify studs, and it rarely indicates the EDGE of the stud, but usually indicates just the CENTER location (which doesn't bother me as long as it's accurate). Instructions say "Hold the device steady, parallel to the studs, and do not rotate the device". But the purpose of the device is to identify studs, so holding it parallel to vertical studs that you know are present is one thing, but what about cross-studs (between the vertical studs) that are horizontal and usually halfway up the wall? Later I slid it across a wall where I already know the stud locations (every 16”) and it identified studs every few inches instead. Then I used it in the METAL mode to identify the metal corner brace that runs up the outside corner of the wall, right under the surface, that I know is there because I saw it when the baseboard was removed. Instructions state that the tool continues to re-calibrate it's own sensitivity during metal scanning. I don't know how to translate that. I held the tool vertically as well as horizontally while slowly sliding it up the wall corner and the tool showed nothing. Later I tried it again and this time it sporadically showed metal when holding the tool vertically, and nothing when holding it horizontally. It just simply has no reliability.

Awesome product
There’s a learning curve to this stud finder but it’s easy to use. So far so good. Thank you.
