Good Set Of Budget ND Filters. Not Perfect But Good Enough For Most.
This set of four ND Nano-X Series Filters for the DJI Avata 2 arrive sealed, in a nice looking, K&F Concept branded, cardboard box, that would be more than suitable should you be wishing to give it as a gift. The filters themselves feel well made and have a good finish throughout. They attach by snapping them onto the lens of your Avata 2. Due to the their small size and the delicate nature of the gimbal, it can feel a little unnerving to push them so they snap on the first time you try, but you soon get used to the idea that this method works without damaging the gimbal.Talking of the gimbal, their light weight design doesn’t cause any issues with the operation of the gimbal itself. It’s great that they come in a protective plastic case with foam insert, but given how thin these filters are, the case could have been a lot thinner and still offered the same protection without taking as much space in your bag.Neutral-Density (ND) filters reduce the amount of light that is transmitted through the lens. They have two main uses on drones. Firstly to reduce the chances of overexposure, glare and colour issues in very bright lighting conditions. And secondly to allow you to reduce the shutter speed to get a smoother, more cinematic, motion blur. This kit contains an ND8, ND16, ND32, and ND64 filter, which reduce the amount of light transmitted to the lens by 3, 4, 5 and 6 Stops respectively. In use the filters worked well, given their price point. If you pixel peep then there is some very slight image degradation, but nothing you would notice under normal viewing conditions. There is also a very slight colour shift on the ND32 and ND64 filters, but again, nothing you would notice under normal conditions, and something easily fixed in post if you really need to.In conclusion, this is a nice set of ND filters for the Avata 2. Whilst image quality isn’t perfect, it will be more than acceptable for 99% of users, and nothing you can really complain about at this price point. My only real complaint is that I wish the case was more compact. It’s also a pity that DJI constantly change the design of their lenses so that the chances of ever being able to use these filters on anything other than the Avata 2 are slim, but that’s an issue with DJI’s business practices, rather than the filters themselves~ Ethics Statement: Amazon provided me with this product to review and asked in return that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. That’s what I’ve set out to do in this review, so I hope you found it helpful. ~

As usual, quality glass at an affordable price
I have many DJI drones and use K&F and other mid range brands for my ND filters. These ND filters, as you would expect from K&F, do not distort or discolour the footage.A test is always needed with new filters to be sure they do not affect the gimbal calibration or operation and I'm glad to say these filters do neither. If you want to be confident at achieving cinematic motion blur without compromise, you can trust these filters.

Essential for Drone Photography and Videography
Having recently upgraded to the DJI Avata 2, I was eager to get the most out of my drone photography and videography. This ND filter kit has been a valuable addition to my gear. The four filters offer a good range of light reduction options, allowing me to capture stunning footage in various lighting conditions. The filters are incredibly lightweight, so I haven't noticed any negative impact on the gimbal's performance. They also seem to be well-made, with a sturdy construction and a smooth coating that repels water and dust. The snap-fit design makes it easy to switch between filters, and they attach securely to the lens without any wobbling or shaking. I've been particularly impressed with the ND32 filter, which has been perfect for capturing cinematic footage in bright sunlight. My only minor gripe is that the kit doesn't include a storage case, which would be handy for keeping the filters organised and protected when not in use. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall quality and performance of the filters.

Very well-designed filter set
I am quite pleased with this compact set of ND filters. They provide the most common set of 4 filters for everyday use for me. I am not a professional photographer, but these 4 filters cover exactly what I need for my shots.I like how this set fits onto my A2. They are not hard to snap on, but they are harder to remove - which I want, because I have had other brand filters get knocked-off my gimbal before by simply running into tree leaf's. Not with these (so far) ;-)This set comes with a nice plastic carry case, with a custom fit foam carrier, which makes it easy to pick the filter out of the case without getting fingerprints on the lens. Nice. And they include a lens cloth, but there is no provision for storing this cloth other than on top of the filters.

Great filters, no problems compared to others
As the title suggests, these filters work great on the Avata 2. K&F makes great filters and I have several of them for my mirrorless cameras so I knew glass quality and coatings were going to be good. The filters come in a nice plastic matt case that I prefer to the glossy ones as they get super scratched dry quick. A little microfiber cloth is included but unfortunately, once taken out of the little plastic bag it is exposed to the elements so I wish manufacturers started including a reusable bag or envelope instead.Removing and storing the filters from the case is very easy resulting in fewer fingerprints. Talking about fingerprints, the multi coating applied makes them extremely easy to clean. To be fair, I had no issues with any of the other brands as well.As you can see from my other Avata 2 reviews, I have tried a few other brands and run upon some issues that made me return them. So far, these filters are a great fit, extremely easy to put on and off and do not produce any unwanted crazy reflections, there are some of course, depending on the angle of the sun on the frame but at the same level as their competitors. The filters are made of plastic while other brands are made of aluminum. I generally prefer aluminum or brass for filters but given that the DJI’s camera gimbal attachment notches are also made from plastic, I believe it should be better to avoid damaging the soft contact points. The one thing that I really like is that the design is similar as the (as for today back ordered) official DJI filters. In practice this means that I had no issue installing or removing the filters like with some other renown name brands that needed extreme force to install and - especially - remove them, risking damaging the gimbal on the long run.And this leads to my second big issue: as you can see from the uploaded images, other filters that follow a different design with a little “handle” on the top. The size difference when factoring bother ends of the filter (top and bottom) is minimal. However, this couple of extra millimeters basically make contact with the gimbal cover due to its angular design, tilting the camera downwards and, as it has no real space left, it gets pushed backwards inside the drone body. The Avata’s gimbal seats on some rubber dampers and I am convinced that this amount of stress could eventually damage them. So 5 stars to K&F for fit.Closing, the filters weight 0.7gr compared to other known brands that weight 1.2gr. Although negligible, less is more in the case of a 3-axis gimbal.
