Which young child doesn't like digging things up and exploring the garden?This Bug Bungalow Insect Catching Kit contains a "safe" area for insects to be observed. The large holder can be filled with a base of soil and then worms, ants and the like can be temporarily placed in there, to watch them run around and do their stuff.This also comes with a little container (that does contain air holes) that has an in-built magnifying glass in the top, which is really good for studying insects close up.I think that the tweasers are possibly a little unwieldly to use and could result in some inadvertent bug-squishing, so we've not used them and prefer instead to just scoop the insects up.The only extra item you might need is a trowel, so that you can break up and expose the soil - but if you've got a garden, chances are you'll already own one of these.All in, great fun for the little ones. It's plastic but reasonably well made and works as it should.
