This one works like it should this one was made in China. Say how long it last the other one I bought did not last long at all.

This worked well enough for my application, sending up/down signals to the heavy duty contactor solenoid for my hitch winch project. The 30A rating is way more than I need to supply the contactor terminals, but I wouldn't think of trying to drive the winch directly with this as it can draw around 150A when pulling, I bet. Apart from the direction being opposite of what I expected it should be from the instructions, I had an issue with the function of the output terminals which wasn't mentioned anywhere in the description. The outputs are both grounded while at rest, then one or the other outputs DC+ depending on if up or down is requested. I wanted to add a manual toggle switch on the enclosure I put this in and have a more direct way to engage the winch, but since this receiver leaves its outputs grounded, the switch just was shorted out every time I tried to use the manual switch. I may find a couple of diodes and prevent the toggle switch output from being grounded through this receiver, but I had hoped the terminals would be open circuits when not active. Since no mention is made of this characteristic which might often be an issue, I'm not wholly impressed and deducted a star from the rating I'm assessing. The remotes are handy and can be switched from momentary to latching function depending on how you want them to operate. The flat remote is magnetic and the white remote includes a slide in mount.

Relay shorts out very easily.

This thing works GREAT! Truck has an exhaust cutout and have replace their brand relay twice at $70 a pop, and no way doing it a 3rd time. This was super easy to install and works perfectly. Been under the hood got covered in dust and I bet it has got a little wet for a car wash or two with no issues.

In modern manufacturing it doesn't take a whole lot more to build a quality product than to build a poor one. Unfortunately the people who made this remote control from the SRDKG Store didn't learn that lesson. Of course when you source the cheapest components, and slap them together quick and dirty, you do make more money up front, but you don't build a business, and you better get out quick.This 2-direction remote switch is mediocre at best. I'm using it to run a very small winch, and during testing every once in a while it just wouldn't respond.

The media could not be loaded. I’m pleased with what this does. Once it’s hooked up everything is pretty straight forward. Hard to beat for the price. Definitely beats the manual fwd/rev switch.All in all I’d rate it a 5/5. I knew what I was getting and felt like it was described well and does what it advertised. Let’s hope it lasts a long time.
