I haven't fully fitted these yet but did do an initial test which was very good and very easy to connect. I got the full 800w at anything above tick over. I believe it will be a game changer in my campervan. The build quality seems very good and the app is very easy to use. The sleek appearance is pleasing to the eye and the multi functionality will be very useful I'm sure.

I was going to buy an extra extension battery but then I saw a YouTube video about this product. It is amazing. Quite simple to set up and saves a load of cost. When the battery gets low it will charge to the required percentage and off you go again. I also have solar panels but this is very convenient. You will need the latest software on your delta 2 to get it to work but that is a simple firmware update. Great product.

Amazing bit of kit

Well, easy enough to hook upto the battery.To start with it wouldn't register on the app. I tried to update firmware via the app but it wouldn't allow me to. A email to EcoFlow & the following day a firmware update was available for the Delta Flow & the Alternator charger. After this was installed everything connected & now with the engine running on idle I get 800w input.Let's hope this is well made & lasts long, I will update here if any failures.

I have a camper van and installed the Ecoflow charger myself. It’s easy to fit and use and very functional for its intended use. It comes on immediately once I start the van engine. I have a Delta2 Max and it charges very quickly whilst I drive. But whilst it says a maximum of 800w charging capacity I have dialled mine down in the app to a more modest 400w, so as not to overload the alternator. It can be set at what you want up to 800w but the suggestions on some YouTube channels are not to run it at full capacity in order to protect the alternator, unless of course you have upgraded your actual vehicles Alternator to a higher spec. I haven’t yet but will do in the near future. (This itself can be done either yourself or a vehicle mechanic).. . All the dialling down does is increase the charging time, but if you’re on a long journey it won’t matter. It will of course switch off once your Ecoflow battery pack is fully charged. It appears to be well built, although the “on” button is tiny and sits flush with the case making it perhaps a little difficult for someone with sausage fingers. Its weight comes in at a modest 2.2kg. All in all I’d say do your homework” and you will be able to make good use of the Ecoflow Alternators intended purpose.

Game changer

Works, however it regularly dissconects from wifi/bluetooth, and gets very hot.The connectivity issues could be my phone, but surely it should not get quite as hot as it does.I'm still happy with it, but I think you need to be aware of where you locate it in your vehicle, as in plenty of air, and not near anything heat sensitive.

Just does what it says on the tin ripped out my old lead acid split charger to this and fitted the delta and it's transformed use ability of the camper I kept the solar and 12v lead acid to run the 12v devices.
