I teach middle school math and this is an awesome pencil sharpener! It was not cheap but it has definitely been worth the cost.The good:It sharpened pencils right every time.Kids can’t easily sharpen other stuffIt is easy to use once you know the tricks.Sharp sharp sharp pencilsThe bad:Colored pencils gum it upIt does not stay attached to my desk/tableThe crank turns backwards from what kids expect.The shaving drawer comes out easily so kids knock it out on occasion.To me, the good so far outweighs the bad that this is a five star product. It is quiet, my kids use it all the time and it has held up, and it does its main job phenomenally. I like a really sharp pencil for math and this does the job. Hooray!

In my state teachers have to buy all their own classroom tools/supplies. After students breaking two expensive sharpeners, I went with this one (and they are not allowed to touch it!). It's so easy to use, and to hide when I have a sub coming, lol. Pencils sharpen evenly all the way around every time. Great product!

Best sharpener ever. I don't mind the hand crank. Being a teacher I sharpen about a hundred pencils a week and this machine is not losing its touch like most electric sharpeners. Just wish it had come in people.

Love this manual sharpener. Bought for my kids, have gifted to their art teacher and my sis has bought one for her kids too. Would highly recommend. Even sharpens the super cheap pencils that you get from Dollar bins well. Esp good on map pencils, aka color pencils, as they tend to break more easily. Love this.

I have this in my classroom. IT works quickly and very well. However, it can confuse students if they have never used one before.

I have had this sharpener in my classroom for 5 days and it’s already broken. If I were to guess, I’d say that it’s been used to sharpen less than 24 pencils. I’m so disappointed. An expensive piece of junk.
