Awesome
I purchased all of the digital full color manga and even have the Japanese version of this as well.I really like this mainly because of it's size, it's much larger than the Japanese version and is almost as big as a single Daizenshuu! It still has some of the cough English translations at the beginning like Piccolo's Light of death, and this release still edits out Mista Popo's lips, I ask why?!! However he isn't the main focus, and even if they do release the first part of dragon ball he wouldn't appear until Piccolo Daiamo anyway so I don't feel it's that bad but it does suck.I really wish they would release the Kanzenban and if they do I hope it's a brand new translation, the 3-1s may have the same coverart but that's it, bad paper quality and so on.For the English release of the manga this is the best version to get! But if you can, the Japanese version of the original run of the manga is the best as well as the Kanzenban if that is an option for you.

Amazing Color and Detail
Was always a hope and dream of mine to find the Dragon Ball Z graphic novels in full color. Now, I can put my old black and white graphic novels in collector jackets and enjoy the full color books, instead.

The best edition yet.
Dragon Ball Full Color is the best release of the series ever made available in America. The artwork has converted to color gorgeously and the page size / paper quality is phenomenal. The font used in the text is also more appealing than what we've seen before and fits very nicely. This even puts the Viz Big edition of the series to the trash by comparison. The only gripes I have is that the Japanese versions of these volumes had new Q&A's with Akira Toriyama that have not been translated for the English release. Also, there are some strange/unnecessary translation choices that were made in previous editions that have carried over to this - the script hasn't really been revised. Piccolo talks in a very bizarre way for this part of the story, then not much at all anymore from the time Nappa starts fighting, moving forward. There's also a note on the first page mentioning this as a sequel to the original Dragon Ball. The problem is, now the title to these volumes doesn't even have "Z" present, so this note doesn't match the context it is set against.Besides those grips, I still consider this release worth supporting and feel fans of the manga should seek it out to improve their collection and provide incentive for Viz to continue releasing these. With any luck, the good folks there will reconsider some of their censorship practices from later story arcs that showed up in previous editions, particularly the use of "Hercule" (real name: Mr. Satan).

GREAT Way to read the manga
Awesome books at a great price still and looks great for display purposes. Images are amazing especially in color. It's like reading the anime but you get to appreciate the art more. I picked one up used for less than $10 and the pages were still nice and clean quality paper and print.
