ColibriPacific Air Soft Flame Pipe Lighter, Adjustable Flame & Fuel Window, High Altitude Performance (Black Chrome)

I've had my fill of poorly made lighters and decided to chance a better quality.This Colibri lighter does not disappoint. The fit and feel of the lighter is first class. Time has been taken to ensure everything fits together well, the feel is solid. The sight glass for the propane reservoir is very functional. The flame height adjustment wheel is a very nice touch.In use the flame is a "soft flame" as you would get from a disposable lighter but is fully adjustable from extinguished to a good 2-3" flame. The soft flame is perfect for pipes as the typical "blow torch" like lighters push out a bunch of gas which can disrupt the pipe's filled bowl. The ignition button is wide and smooth, easy to operate, and is located far enough way from the flame that you can run the lighter upside down without much worry of getting burned. That's just thoughtful engineering.

I’ve ordered this item 3 times. The first lighter lasted about 2 years. The second lighter about 6 months and the third lighter now just about 3 months. I’m going to try something else. It’s not worth the cost of this item. Good looking Piece just unreliable.

This is a great lighter for pipes. It works well and is durable.

I love the feel and look of this lighter, it's perfect for lighting pipes. However if very often takes 4-5 or more tries to get it to even light! Once lit it does wonderful. I'm not sure I can recommend this product because of the effort just to get it to work. I'd love to find a brand that had something similar that actually worked well.

I bought one of these about 3 years ago and loved it. I just had to have another one!

This lighter didn't quite make it a month before it took 10 attempts, minimum to light. Then it quit lighting. P.O.S. will never by a product from Colibri again. They knew and are thieves.
