Huge step up in audio
Pleased with this and has delivered a big improvement in audio quality. Just need to go back to the TVs inbuilt audio for a few seconds to appreciate the big + difference!

Probably the best you can buy in this, and higher price brackets!
For clarity, I only write reviews when I think something is either really bad or really good. Firstly to confirm, the majority of the viewpoints already offered are indeed accurate, For the price this compact little sound bar packs a lot of punch and is acoustically excellent! Voice clarity, bass response and volume are all excellent, see below..Sound quality: firstly the bass! I can't quite believe how punchy this thing is! BOSE are of course known for this, but even still it manages to crank it out even at high volumes! Mids and hight are also bright without being harsh. Very impressed. For movies & TV: - This replaces an Orbit Sound system that comprised of the sound bar and bluetooth sub-woofer. So often we had to have the volume way too high simply to be able to hear the dialogue. With this, clarity is off the scale, its not even in the same vicinity, and that without using the voice boost function. All this without compromising the bass. Impressed! For music: - I had some idea that this is where it might fall down, thinking it was tuned for TV and video... Nope! sounds amazing and if anything the bass is even deeper.Setup is literally plug n play, works like any other bluetooth speaker, could not be easier! My one gripe; as I am sure has already been mentioned, is that there is no HDMI port, connectivity is either optical (recommended) or analogue via 3mm jack or coaxial. This is a small price to pay with this quality at this price though.I am so impressed I am considering buying another!

Good for the price a great addition to the TV
Main feature we needed was to boost the dialog on films this does an excellent job at that. Also good at lower volume no need to annoy the nieghbours.Overall good sound crisp and clear stereo separation ok but could be better .A massive improvement over tv built in speakers really wonder how we listened the tv speakers-for 10 yr

The best in its class
The media could not be loaded. This Bose soundbar just sounds so so good for its size I’m using it for my Mac mini m4 and works perfectly, there are 4 ways to connect aux via a 3.5mm jack, optical, coax and Bluetooth, the best way is always going to be optical to get the best clarity. It’s plenty loud enough for most people, and very impressive bass for such a small footprint. If you’re looking for a small soundbar there are none out there that get near what comes out of this soundbar from Bose.

best cheap soundbar bar none
have heard many cheap soundbars (going around many shops and hearing them) and been disappointed but this has the quality to almost match ones at around £300needed one for a spare room and didnt want to spend a ton but i value good sound quality.it delivers fantastic clarity anda very detailed sound, if you have just been using your tv speakers you will hear things in the soundscape you have never heard before. it also has a suprising amount of bass with a weighty feel to drums in songs and gunfire in films.has nice features like auto wake when the tv is turned on and will remember your bass settings on it.for a smaller room it wil fill it with a sound that doesnt sound compressed and allows the different elements room to breath and gives a suprisingly wide feeling soundscape not like its coming from a small bar.its not of the sound quality of more expensive products (of course!) like my sonos arc ultra with a sub so you cant expect it sounding like metallica live in your living room. but for £150 this is a bargin and will deffo b3 checking out other bose products in the future.the best cheapest soundbar i ve ever heard by a mile and have recommended to family and friends

Serves the purpose for small to medium living room and
This is my first BOSE product and i know how those beasts usually do for an entire home theatre experience, this soundbar is an entry level one with the brand tagging. I’m impressed with the quality of sound for this price and brand , bit this is purely for small to medium living rooms who just need some TV dialogues to be heard clearly especially with various streaming platforms and their movie content quality. And also being with toddler kids around we hardly get a time to see and listen on large screen, so if u need some good tv listening, podcast listening or music for some 1 or 2 hours when kids are away to nursery this is more than enough and easy to setup and connect. The one downfall i have observed is that the volume control wont be seen in display of tv and not really finding any difference with or without bass being enabled. But i dont mind for an entry level experience , so happy with it. If you are looking for bigger experience with bigger rooms go for proper 5.1 HT from Sony may be.
