I’ve been pining for wireless CarPlay in my 2020 Equinox since renting a car with it last year. I had no idea there were adapters until I got a new phone (iPhone 16 Pro Max) and wanted to avoid having it plugged in so much while driving to keep the battery safe. Enter: This Thing™️. It was about as easy to set up as CarPlay itself as long as your phone isn’t connected to the car’s Bluetooth or your home WiFi. The little receiver box is tiny and the cable is short, but that’s perfect because I want it to sit in the console out of the way. In the photo, you can see the little green light showing it’s on. There’s a tiny lag for controls, but nothing more than I’ve experienced with wireless CarPlay in other cars. Overall, recommended 💯

The device seems to work well. It’s a little slower to connect than a different branded one I have. One negative is that because it requires a wifi connection you can’t connect to the wifi in your vehicle, you have to use data. The reason for the 4 stars is that the instructions are wrong. The device didn’t automatically connect the wifi after pairing bluetooth like it says. It required a password, which according to the instructions meant you were doing it wrong. I went on youtube and found a video of someone setting one up. Somehow he had the password, which is 12345678. Hope this helps some people. I about threw it in the trash because I was past the return window.

Muy bueno el producto cumple con las especificaciones. Solo tiene un poco de delay pasando las canciones como de un segundo o menos. Se conecta increíblemente rápido cuando te subes al vehículo una vez lo has emparejado la primera vez. Funciona perfecto en mi Mazda cx-30, 2022.
