Bought it to use in my part-time retail job, lasted for a year but it was well worth it! I can cut though any type of packaging tape or ductape. It's not sharp, never cut myself on it. I just put it on a stretchy lanyard on my waist and everything became so much easier than holding a box cutter. It can also cut cardboard but not all the way through, but it still helps to break it. It can also card through plastic wrap!

These little guys are so amazing. They are small and compact but can cut through any box no matter the size. The design of the blade is amazing, and it is so light in weight. Definitely recommend this blade because of its durability and ability to cut anything! You do not have to worry about this blade making a mess, it is a super easy clean up if any!

My husband thought I was crazy for wanting these when I already have scissors/box cutters but this little tool is mighty. It's great for opening mail, breaking down boxes that I end up with after my trip to the buy-in-bulk stores. I also like that it's safe enough for my older kids to use. So far I am happy with my purchase.

This cutter works well for flat items, such as opening box tape, cutting coupons, or slicing through a bag placed on a stable surface. However, results can be inconsistent when cutting items that aren’t completely flat, like a produce bag held in one hand, since the cutting edge of the small ceramic blade may shift away from the intended spot with any movement. The blade retains its sharpness far longer than a traditional metal utility blade while remaining finger-safe. (However, it -can- chip if dropped onto a hard surface at just the right angle, making the small blade even smaller.)Can be easily attached to any magnetic surface such as a fridge or metal filing cabinet for convenient storage. (Or there's also a key ring hole, but don't know if I'd want a mini ceramic blade in my pocket, that while finger/skin-safe, may accidently cut though fabric fibers given the chance.)

My last box opener broke and when I was looking for a new one, one of my coworkers suggested to try these. I am absolutely in love with them! It's super easy to use no matter if you're left or right handed. The blade is super small and ceramic so I've never had an issue of hurting or cutting myself with it. It's small and light so I keep it on my keychain with the rest of my work keys. Super sharp with no signs of wearing down and has been so durable. I have a feeling the plastic around the blade with wear away before the blade does. Absolutely recommend to everyone that has to open a LOT of boxes all the time.

This small and unassuming gadget works wonderfully! It really is true, it does NOT cut your skin in any way, yet cuts the packing tape and other thin materials with great ease. An excellent purchase!

I purchased this because my box knive I’ve cut myself on. So I needed a safer solution. This is totally safe.I’m astonished kit works perfectly and can open boxes, bags or any packaging.I love it!

I have to admit that I was disappointed in this based on the reviews I read before I bought it. It looks easy to hold, but it really needs a dimple on the side to keep in securely in my hand. It does work very well to cut through thin items (no corrugated cardboard) if the material to be cut is very taut. It has its uses, and I will keep it, but it is not the revolutionary new tool I had hoped for.
