Great for sifting for sharks teeth. If sand fleas are what you’re after, it does that really well too. Heavy duty construction and nice handle in the middle. I would gorilla glue the end handle on tho as mine kept slipping so I took it off

The has been a very sturdy tool and it has been easy to use. It is on the heavy side and a little large, but I enjoy it. My only complaint is there were no instructions in the box making if somewhat difficult to put together.

This has been a useful and interesting item. We originally got this sand rake to scoop up Nerf Darts from my son playing with his Nerf at the volleyball court. He then started to use it to find "treasures" at the sand volleyball court. It can go from an adult-sized arm to a child-sized arm. He has enjoyed using it in various ways, and it has definitely helped clean up quickly. It is lightweight, easy to store and use.

Handle broke after first useVery weak

0 - for safety- the edges are sharp & kept cutting me.I got 3 cuts on my feet & 5 cuts on handsIt is large & in surf it got thrown around and hit me.I guess I should use it in calm water, but I’m at the beach, tide was coming in.But I found lots of shark teeth.I would recommend a smaller basketThe handle did not stay in place, I was not able to make it any tighter.If the Walmart one was stainless steel- I would have bought another- it’s a much better size- for me.I’m 5’3” 115 pounds, in my 60’s

May be good in many other areas or for other folks. But too large and unwieldy for most folks, has sharp edges and flimsy multi-piece handle. Also, if you have sand with lots of shells or pieces, the holes won't pass them out of the rake. I returned it and got a smaller one with diamond-style grating, and it works really well in this area

This is about 2x the size of any sand flee rake I've seen, with a large, industrial feeling metal rake. It gets the job done, we caught lots of flees. It's heavy and picks up a lot of sand, so a good workout also.
