works perfectly
I got this because I had a snake on my back enclosed porch and I didn't know how to get rid of it. As soon as it came in, I saw the snake again that night, I grabbed my handy dandy snake catcher claw and grabbed the snake with no issues. I have never used anything like this before and I had no problems. It is sturdy and grabbed the snake easily.

it does the job!
I have snakes in my yard and my neighbors from time to time..I really don't like to kill them as they are harmless, but prefer them not to be in my space. Buying this has helped me to catch them and then relocate them. Easy to use big or small.

Great to have on hand
It's well made and living in the country I've caught many snakes and relocated them.No need to kill snakes they help manage all kinds of rodents around the farm.

Luv it!
Love this thing! Use it to pick up cactus gophers have chewed roots off of. And can move hot wood pieces into fire pit. Wont burn. Its all metal!

Good for Large snakes
This is Large! I feel it was too much for my ball python.A hook serves me better. But this is very nice for maybe boas?

It works
I bought this for a friend who lives in the country-ish area and is constantly coming across snakes on the property. Thankfully most of them are not poisonous or venomous but darn nit wit bends over and grabs every one with his hands. Now the stick only gets struck at. Only problem he has reported is the grip part of it is very stiff and hard on his hand (he's 72 years old).
