So, before purchasing, I read other reviews. Although skeptical, I made the purchase. I do not regret my decision.Assembly: If you do not have the physical strength to firmly assemble the chair, get a helper that can. Some complained about parts coming loose. I suspect they did not firmly assemble the chair. All pieces are pressure fit and must be firmly pressed together. Follow the instructions and instructional video as a guide. All pieces assembled with no issues following the instructions. I included a photo of the floor clearance as some complained this was an issue. There is plenty of clearance at base of the chair. Sides should not fall off with correct assembly and normal operation.If you have a room that is difficult to get furniture in to, this chair would serve you well.Comfort and operation: The cushions on this chair are extremely comfortable. Lumbar support in the reclined position is excellent. The motor operation is quiet and smooth. Unlike conventional recliners, this power recliner holds its position wherever it is set. The control buttons are positioned well and easily accessible. Usb port is a welcome plus! I find the height of the arms to be well positioned. My arms rest comfortably on them.This is truly a zero clearance chair. As you can see from photo, chair is close to wall and reclines with no issues.I am 6 feet tall, 220 lbs. The chair has plenty of room for me with no issues at the head rest or foot support. If you are shorter me, I think you will find the cushion to floor clearance a plus in the upright position, making getting up from the chair easier.In my opinion, this chair is a great value for the money. Hopefully, they will offer other fabric colors in the future.

I paid $248 after tax. The box arrived badly damaged with a lot of post packaging tape holding the carton together, and the top part and feet poking through the box. However, it went together well in 15 minutes and luckily worked. The color is a bit darker than it appears on Amazon. Unfortunately, it's thick cloth material collects pet hair and dust. You need to put the arms and arm-pads on first or it won't go together. Some assembly skills are required to zipper the pads to the frame. The motor is pretty quiet. I am 5' 10"-170 lbs and it is more than big enough for me with comfortable pads. It's not as sturdy as I hoped, but it the lowest price power recliner on Amazon or Walmart.

I was happy when the chair arrived quickly and putting it together was easy. The chair is very comfortable and seemed perfect.... until I turned it on to hear a terrible crunching sound underneath. I discovered that for all the great qualities of the chair, the mechanism that connects to all the pieces allowimg motion is made of very cheap plastic and had broken into 4 pieces. My assumption is that the break happened during shipping, but given the poor quality I am sure it would break fairly quickly with use. Totally do not understand why the most important piece of the entire chair was made from such cheap material.Thank good goodness that the client services was very responsive and quickly provided me with a full refund - except now I am stuck with paying for bulk junk pickup to get it out my house.

Ordered this for my wife. Medical issues made it hard for her to stand up from her previous chair - it rocked and swiveled. Wanted one that did not move and decided on this one because it is power operated and had decent reviews. Less strain on her when operating the recliner features. Assembly took about 30 minutes. As others have said, the directions are not great, but I figured it out without too much difficulty. The power unit works very well and is really quiet. My wife loves the chair, but says it is too easy to fall asleep in. The only complaint is with the padding on the back. It is 3 vertical rows, and the center row is noticeably fluffier and higher than the outer two rows. She had a bad neck ache from this fluffier center row after sitting for a good amount of time. I've contacted the seller, we'll see what they say about fixing the issue.Edited review - I'm changing this review to 5 stars. The problem with the padding in the back has gotten a bit better with use. I'm hoping that over time that center piece of padding will reduce to the same size as the two outer pieces. I'm changing the rating because after contacting the seller, they acknowledged that this was a problem on a couple of their chairs, they are tracking the problem, and they gave me a full refund and told me to keep the chair. Really good customer service.
