I have been making sauerkraut for years. These jars are nice and thick. Everything was packed well. Just tried some sauerkraut I made a few weeks ago and it was excellent

I was willing to over look that I was missing a screw lid and that my white lids were dirty and scuffed. I was fine with that until i found a leak. Really disappointed in this product, considering the cracked glass renders it completely useless. I stored them in my cupboard and checked them after 24 hours. Unfortunately my cabinet shelf was soaked. Put them on a fresh dry paper towel to see which one was leaking. Will probably return this item after hopefully getting at least one batch of sauerkraut. Such a bummer.Edit: 10/28/24. Both batches of sauerkraut went bad and I had to thrown them away. Such a washer. Will definitely be returning.

Product came as advertised, but was missing one of the airlocks unfortunately. Seems good quality otherwise.

The biggest issue with me is the item doesn’t arrive on the day it is promised. This isn’t just for this item but for a lot of them. Nice that the kit comes with two jars, four lids, two air traps, and two weights. I’m waiting for some dried Thai Chiles to come in before I start my first batches of gardieneri and brussel sprouts. I like the heat. I’ll look for another two similar mason jars so I can ferment four at a time.

looking forward to making my first batch of sour kraut.

These fermentation jars shipped in a very well protected box. I have cabbage fermenting already. If I had known it was so easy, I would have started making my own kraut years ago.
