Digital SLR cameras are easy to fit to a microscope because their lenses can be removed. In this case all you need is the Apex Snapper. However, if you have a compact digital camera and the lens cannot be removed, you need a system that will not only physically attach the camera but will also merge the optical system of the camera with the microscope. The Apex Editor does this, providing your camera has a tripod bush on its bottom edge which virtually all do. If for any reason you are unsure we would be happy to advise you.
