MDC Softe Collar, Size 6, Greyhound

In theory this is a great collar and at first it seemed to work, it’s nice and soft, has give when they clatter into something and is comfy to rest their head on.It gets very warm inside so my Greyhound ended up slobbering a lot, okay you say, it’s washable.After a couple of days my lad realised that because of its softness that he could manipulate it and get to his wound, so we’re back to square one and the plastic cone of shame :-(Perhaps if it was a few inches longer then even the most determined and long snouted Greyhound might be beat, but sadly not this time.

Fits well, if you tie the string right. It's so soft my grey was comfy. It does get a little hot in there, I'd give a higher score if it didn't. For an item that doesn't cost a lot, it does what it's supposed to do, keeps long noses off wounds.

Absolutely no way this would fit our greyhound! (32kg female)The tag says greyhound, so the right item was sent, and if we try hard her eyebrows just fit in before it gets stuck on her forehead.

After the horror of the huge, heavy cone of shame this was a blessed relief - for our greyhound, and therefore for us. In principle, it's perfect - the ideal shape and weight. In reality, however, it's lightness means it's not durable enough: the cover is almost like paper . It wasn't long before our dog had nibbled a hole in it. If they could make it with a more robust material (like a heavy nylon) this would be fantastic.A temporary cone that will se you through 3 or 4 days.

Absolutely useless, doesn’t even go over my greyhounds head and can’t return.

Doesn't really fasten properly, is easily slipped off which defeats the purpose.

I bought this to stop my boy getting to his wound, unfortunately he got SO hot and distressed that it was clear it was not a good fit- I went to remove it and it was stuck! I had to cut the bottom with a freaking out dog to remove- not at all impressed. Needless to say I’m not ableTo return it as I have had to destroy it to safely fire move it from his neck.

Useless, wase of good money - way too small - material not breathable. - Certainly not suitable for Greyhounds as stated.
