I tried the arcade-sized buttons from the same company, but it was giving me hand cramps because the buttons were too large and my hands are smaller. I also experienced input lag on the arcade-sized controller.THIS one is much more comfortable, and I don't experience any lag or missed inputs at all. It's also very easy to customize with various mechanical keyboard keys. I don't use this for fighting games, I use it for general gaming and it's very, very comfortable. I wish they would make something like this that can also control the right stick, it would make a great replacement for an xbox 360 gamepad.As it is, I really enjoy this one, and I love how easy the configurator website is to use. I have to admit, this product is sturdy and strong, but I expected to have an easy time setting it up. I was mistaken, as I overlooked a key quality of getting a converter.However, those things cost nearly $45 and I’m not sure why a product this compact would require so much just to get booted up to a PS4 or a Switch. For the time being, I’m giving this product 3/5, -2 points for simplicity to set up and the fact that I can’t really do anything with it considering it needs a converter to actually turn it on.EditedOk, so this controller is actually really good, and it worked incredibly well on my Switch and PC. I managed to get it working after a little bit of experimenting. I tried it out with Them’s Fightin’ Herd’s and it worked amazingly well and I even found it working surprisingly well with Mario Kart of all games. I was overall impressed with the quality. Most of all, I love the interchangeable buttons as well. Gives way to those trying out different keys whether they be for more tactical gameplay, or overall aesthetic.

I'm sure the part about it being small isn't any surprise as this device is close to the same size as my Pixel 7. The switches it came with are clicky and sensitive, but I made it completely silent with a switch change that was pretty easy to do. It's pretty nice that you can modify this in a lot of small, aesthetic ways, which makes it fun to tinker with and it's fully functional.

Been wanting to try a hitbox but most have a high entry price. This box is priced just right for those who maybe be curious about hitboxes. I've seen other boxes that are double the price but only half the quality as this Haute box. The switches and keycaps are all hotswappable but the ones that come with it are great quality.The web based configuration allows for even further customization from button mapping to firmware upgrades. From stock the RT button was on the left side and vice versa for LT. I was able to remap them around so they would correspond physically. I was able to update the latest GP2040-CE firmware without any issues. Like many have said, can't recommend this board enough. The price compared to other hitboxes make this a "must buy".update: I replaced the switches with some Akko Lavender Purple V3 pro tactile switches and has made the keypresses much more enjoyable.

Product must've arrived damage inner package was opened and would not connect to Steam Deck/PC/Console. Everything intact but just won't work for unknown reasons.

I'm not sure why it's labeled as 'Sehawei' but I've followed these guys for a while and liked their pcb designs for their Haute mixboxes.I like playing fighting games on the keyboard but I always fat-finger other keys so having them isolated like this is ideal.Custom config software is robust and response is precise.Only gripe with it is the switches it comes with. These linear switches are a bit unreliable for inputs especially considering the travel for a confirmed press. Sometimes you will feel like you pressed the key but the key had not passed the threshold for actuation.Skill issue for sure but in games where decisions are made in milliseconds, I'd rather not have to bottom out the keys for an action to come out.Since it's hot-swappable, I'd recommend replacing these switches with tactile ones like K2 browns or any other tactile key switch.

Was great for a year then USB-c connector went loose and now it won’t work :/

I’ve been playing FPS/MOBAs all my life. Friend got me into the FGC but I always had trouble with directional inputs on controller and a stick/legacy fight stick felt really uncomfortable to use. Picked this up, super affordable, really compact and light and a breeze to install. Felt right at home using it and I still use it to this day. This is a perfect stepping stone of a controller if you planned to get a Mixbox but didn’t like their prices. Highly recommend this for keyboard fighting game players or long time MNK players. You will struggle with inputs like Zangief full circle or 2B self destruct! Just takes getting used to but I found that this controller was easy to pick up and use. You will NOT become a pro overnight.
