I'm no chemistry expert, nor have I used molecular models before, but I ordered these to help with hands on learning for science concepts for my daughters. The pieces themselves fit well together, and it's easy to make the models, which is the most important part of a set like this. The case the pieces come in is pretty cheap, but it works to keep it all contained.

I love these sets and use them to demonstrate both chemistry content and building science topics when molecular scale is useful. All the connectors work nicely and the builds have good sizes for showing relative scale. My only complaint, (and its really minor!) is that some of the sphere mold lines are more obvious on some of the pieces that are common. I'm talking less than 10% of the parts so its not a big deal and maybe it was just my run of parts. All in all, for the price and the usefulness, this is a nice set.

This is for science class in my high school and also for leisure because I like to study and learn knew things and also I like the quality of the set and I like that it comes with 452 pc. I had never had a set like this before. I have a knack for building things as well.

As a former physical sciences teacher, I can verify that models are valuable for learning molecular structures. There is nothing quite like assembling a molecule to see the bonding when you have the formula. Many basic principles make more sense when you have the hands-on, visual cues. This kit is a decent one--the atoms fit well together using the bonds and it is nice that "electron clouds" are included. The case is suitable for carrying and everything fits well inside. I am not sure the kit would last very long for heavy classroom use, but did not test that. For individual student use, such as at home, it would be ideal because it is affordable. Two things are not the greatest. First, I do not think our set contains all the atoms it is supposed to, when I checked the atoms with the inventory sheet, but we do have enough to make the set valuable. Second, the inventory sheet is terrible in that it is blurry and difficult to read. A company that works hard to make a nice model kit really should have included a more complete, easier to read pamphlet at the very least. By using this with other teaching resources, the kit is still quite good, but working on the instructions would improve it.
