Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He wanted another pair of Salomans, but a certain style, certain colour etc, so ultimately I chose these. He isn't a runner, hiker, heck he only walks to the car! But you still need to be comfortable to do that lol they look nice on him, and the black means he can wear them with anything really, unlike some of the garish colours you see now. He was very happy with them and he is hard to please with footwear.

Best Trail shoes out there
I’ve had several Speedcross trail shoes so I know their best for grip on muddy surfaces. The sole rubber is very hard which causes problems on surfaced paths etc. They are brilliant shoes easy to tie with their pull string mechanism which stores easily on the top of the shoe.

Good quality & comfortable but ripped at toe cap after 7 months
Had a few pairs of these seem to last better than other trainers when walking my Dog in all weather and terrain but the latest pair failed 7 months into average wear they both ripped at the toe cap both outside very disappointing. Salamon say UK has a 2 year warranty. I have to claim via Amazon I’ll update this post for information

nice but
when you search for waterproof salomon these will pop on on amazon, thy are 100% not waterproof not even rain proof but they are very comfortable, i will keep them but def not waterproof, but as I see how there is a identical pair only different colour that are marked as waterproof so just be aware if they are not marked as waterproof they won’t be .
