Difficult to use - too recent firmware.
These items have a more recent firmware than most Web data is about. Consequently some of the instructions don't work - for example the need to hold down the programming buttons whilst entering the commands, not just to get into programming mode. Eventually I did them paired, but even now I can't be sure exactly how. It may be they need a power-down after programming. Hence the three stars. Given up-to-date programming info they may be perfect!

Very good HC-05 modules
3/11/19Purchased these for the bluetooth interface side of a radio project I was building.Pleased to say that they work perfectly.Five stars.

Work ok but counterfiet
The boards work fine and were delivered quickly but aren't genuine HC-05's so if you have more specific functions you want to use then they may not work as specified

Problematic
Unable to get to respond to any AT commands. Went back to another HC-05 brand and worked first time.
