They work great and appear to be the same quality as the ones I got from the actual website. My cat loves being able to talk through them. They have easy instructions on how to record your voice and playback. The voice is clear and easy to understand when pressed. I will say to check all of them. I had one that didn't work at first and I had to remove the back to look at the batteries. Turns out they were loose and so when I screwed the back on tighter the button worked.

Ease of use and sound quality very good. My toy poodle gradually learns how to use it. He still prefers gesture more than tapping it button. He sometimes complain when having to do extra work tapping itI tape it on the floor to secure it. Put the treat button where his snacks are located. The outside button near the door. I will add more words once he doesn’t complain anymore.

I love how loud these are and that the fact that the recording switch is underneath instead of on the side of the button.The downside is that one of my 6 buttons was defective - I contacted the seller and got no response, so I exchanged them for a replacement through Amazon and now I'm perfectly happy with them :)The first box I got just had the buttons, but the replacement one had stickers to label the buttons and a flier for lessons to teach your dog to use them which I thought was great (not sure why they weren't included the first time).

These buttons are so easy to record and the sound is loud and clear. I can’t wait to use them to get my second cat talking!

I bought the starter pack of 2 of the original buttons, and then decided to buy these newer buttons to add onto my dog’s tiles. These new buttons with the speakers facing out are SO much better. They press much quicker and play the sound 98% of the time when clicked, unlike the originals. They also don’t have the annoying switch on the side like the original buttons do. These are far superior! Our dog loves using the buttons to communicate! He’s only 5 months and has 12 buttons currently.

If you have a pet that is engaged and intelligent, a pet that responds to verbal commands, a pet that seems frustrated because it can’t respond to your commands, this is perfect! You program them with your own voice so you can choose the words, so your pet will understand better. The audio is robotic, but effective. I bought these for my brother’s cat but he isn’t a huge toy kind of cat…he’ll use his soft toys as a pillow sometimes but generally doesn’t respond to much…he’s more of an observer. My other brother’s dog, however, is very much the type of dog that would respond well to these…she knows a few dozen words and if she could ask questions it is obvious she wouldn’t be afraid to! I didn’t buy them for the dog though simply because she would use her favorite words too much—she would constantly ask to go on a walk!

Fantastic product and setup. Had a small issue with one from the six pack, but the vendor was a pleasure to work with and I received the new replacement within just a few days. Their customer care staff were attentive and easy to contact and work with. Will be buying another six pack after our pup learns the commands associated with the first set.

The media could not be loaded.  Figuring how to record was tricky/unclear, I hope my steps help!•(How to record for the Speak Up version)1: Pull out white tab, from the bottom2: On the bottom, move the black button to the circle•3: Push & hold white button, when u hear a beep, keep holding the button & record what u want to say after it beeps, then release button once done recording4: To play what u said, on the bottom move the black button towards the arrow> then push the white button.5: To re-record sumthing start , with step #2.•1 out of the 6 buttons was defective, which is disappointing for the $60 price point. The defective one records what I say, but when I play it back it sounds terrible. The other 5 work great. The voice quality is clear & loud. I like the accidental recording prevention feature. These are small and compact.

The video ad makes it appear as though these buttons come with the mat. They do not. Possibly because I'm in the UK, but the only hextile mats I can find come as a set of 2 for £140.Audio quality is also not as clear as indicated.Will probably return these. For people in the UK, if you don't already have the HexTiles, don't bother buying these.
