Don't be stupid like I was
The transistor assortment is a great value for the money. But be careful opening the plastic tray. When I took it out of the shipping envelope, without realizing it, I set the tray on my desk upside down. Without realizing what I was doing, I opened the tray upside down, and all of the transistors fell out of their individual pockets into a jumbled pile on my desk.Please remember when opening: "Orange Side Up."

Great Set of Transistors
This is a fantastic set of transistors at an incredible value. I do a lot of random electronic work and likewise also repair electronics from time to time. Having a variety of transistors at my disposal certainly helps as I'm not always certain what I am going to need ahead of time.The case clearly marks each different sized transistor which makes it easy to just be able to pop it open and grab what you need. Overall, recommend this set!

Great selection and price
This is a wonderful set of commonly-used switching transistors. If you're repairing electronics, these are the transistors you will commonly use. They are also used in many DIY and hobby projects. Conveniently packaged and labeled. At about 2c a piece, it is great value. Manufacturer is unknown, but I measured a couple of 2N3904/06 and their parameters were within specifications.

No datasheet and manufacturer. You don't know what you are getting
There's no datasheet nor component manufacturer documented with this kit. You just don't know what you are getting with these. Yes, they provide the transistor names but no reputable electronics manufacturer provides electronic components without a datasheet containing ratings and electrical and characteristic curves . I suppose this kit may be suitable for novices or kids to toy around with but just not suitable for serious electronic work.
