Exerpeutic 975SL Great Value
I researched all of the available inversion tables and decided on this one because of what was offered in features and the price $279+free standard shipping.Originally I did not want to spend more than $100 now because years ago I had an original unit for $100 in the past, however after looking at many I thought it was better to spend the extra money for the adjustable on the fly locking angle instead of cheaper units with the strap and also the larger air ankle pads were going to be more comfortable on my ankles since I remember the typical smaller black foam ankle holders hurt my feet/ankle etc.I ordered it on Sunday with the Amazon deal of free ground shipping, shipped from the Cally Manufacture facility to a mile down the road to the Amazon Warehouse. It was delivered on Thursday by UPS and arrived in perfect condition except a 2" hole in the hollow part of the box which did not affect anything inside. I do not recommend paying the extra $50 for expedited delivery as long as free shipping is available - I saved $50 I didn't need to waste.Instructions are very very easy, parts are layed out in sections on a placard board, however there is a error on the parts list/instructions either part 5 or 6 instructions there are only 4 flat washers not 6. Tools are provided in the box but I used my own tools which were easier, assemble was about 1.5 hours. I would say do not over-tighten the screws into the plastic parts and do not over-tighten the 2 small bolts that screw into the front center metal tube that swivels for the front air pads (the metal of the round tube is very thin. Also, I would say when you assemble the back pad to the machine you do need a second person to hold the back pad in place while another inserts the bolts thru the u-channel brackets etc.I adjusted my height with the center shaft and lock the spring pin in place and tighten the black screw tightener knob underneath the shaft and you are good to go. I am used to hanging upside down so its easy for me to hang for 5 minutes or more depending on my goals. I have severe lumber L3-S1 issues and recently hurt myself and had to purchase this to solve my pain. Just bought it so usually my pain will go away after about 2 weeks of using this every day twice per day always has resolved my serious rehabilitating pain.I would say for the money you cannot go wrong however there are a couple areas that could have been made stronger or thicker-that is the air pads attach with 1 screw each however the bracket built into the air pads should have been made with a 2 screw per air pad bracket. There is a small amount of play in the gear locking mechanism at 90 degrees if you try to do sit ups a little rockin but if the angle lock is less than 75 degrees its not apparent in a sit up mode. I do not do sit up on it I only hang and that is it's main duty as far as I am concerned.Buy It, Easy Instructions -Anyone can assemble it, Use It, Relieve the Pain - It works I have been using inversion tables for years and they work, saves me thousands of $$$ from going to chiropractor, pain lumbar epidural hospital injections, NSAID, Ortho docs etc.

easy to understand and well put together
The first part of this review deals with the assembly instructions. I have assembled many things throughout the years. These instructions are very simple, easy to understand and well put together. The nuts and bolts that you need are nicely divided per step on the manual.Secondly, I want to comment on how this inversion table has helped me in the short amount of time I've had it (one week and three days). You should know that I've had back trouble off and on for many years. The last two times I hurt my back, I was in a lot of pain and went to different chiropractors and doctors. A doctor wanted to put me on strong pills which I refused. One chiropractor fed me a whole line crap about how he could help me and I would need to see him twice a week for 8 weeks at an exorbitant cost. One chiropractor did help me greatly but I kept going to him at an as-needed basis. Although I wasn't taking strong pills from a doctor, I had started taking two Aleve a day for the pain, which sometimes helped and other times I couldn't tell the difference. I was also contemplating surgery.A friend who has an inversion table similar to this one told me to get on their inversion table whenever I needed to until I could get my own. I decided to try it, but since I didn't want to impose, I didn't do it very often. The one they have also has the hand brake/lock (that's I what I call it, it probably has an official name to it.). The advantage of the hand brake/lock is that you don't have to pre-set an angle. When you reach the desired angle, you just lock it into place. Then when you're ready to get upright, you loosen the brake and tilt yourself forward with the use of the side bars. It's that simple. The cushions that hold your feet are very, very soft in comparison to my friend's inversion table, too. That's one of the reasons I bought this particular table. One more things, it's also very, very sturdy.I was in a lot of pain before buying this and when I was putting it together, that's why I called a friend to help me put it together. I've been getting on it twice a day for about 2 to 3 minutes each time to a comfortable inclination. The result has been that I'm feeling better and better each day. I have either very little pain or none at all. I'm also able to do sit-ups when I'm inclined which is helping strengthen my core tremendously. Just keep the following in mind. You don't want to overdo it when you first get at inversion table. You can actually hurt yourself or damage your back if you incline all the way back to a vertical position. You can find a lot of advice on this online and on YouTube.Bottom line, if you have back pain, are taking pain pills, going to chiropractors and doctors you're wasting a lot of your money and you're obtaining no long-lasting results. Do yourself a big favor in your life today and buy yourself a good inversion table like this one. I have no regrets on the cost. My only regret is not buying one of these years ago. You'll be more active. Your mood will change, too

4 things you should know
First thing that I would like future purchasers to know is not to be intimidated by the assembly of this item. Looking at the instructions alone it can look like a very intimidating assembly process. In actuality it is not that bad. The major parts come preassembled. And the hardware is provided preassembled and in a bubble tray that is labeled by step so you don't have to figure out what nut goes with what bolt. Most of it can be assembled by one person but you will want a second person to help mounting the upper assembly to the standSecond, know that Men and Women have different centers of gravity. Since Men's center of gravity is higher than women you will need to compensate for that when setting the height to properly balance the table else you can have a very difficult time getting out of the inverted position. I am 6ft 1in so I had to set the height to 6ft 3in to get proper balance and make it much easier to get back up.Third, have a spotter there while first trying the machine and working on getting it level because getting back up if unbalanced is really hard.Fourth, If you have pets, put them up while using. Being inverted will put your held a pet level and they will take advantage that fact. Hard to focus on what you are going with a face full of dog kisses.
