PyramexCapstone Shield Safety Goggles Face Shield

I bought this because it indicated it could be worn over prescription eyeglasses, while it can I find I use it without my glasses because it is more comfortable. It does a great job of protecting your face when the wind blows the stream of snow your are blowing back in your direction. I used to wear a motorcycle helmet with a full face shield, this is much better. Yesterday battling 5 to 8 in of snow I had some fogging in the goggles. I have now removed the top vent plug and will see if that resolves the issue. I noticed there are also vent plugs on the bottom of the goggles and I may try removing them too.All in All a well made very useful product, I am very glad that I found it. I consider the price very reasonable for the quality and am happy to recommend it.

I really like this mask combo. The googles have vents in the top and on the bottom, BUT i do not notice that to help with ANTI FOG and really that is my BIG issue when it comes to this kind of stuff. I wish i could find something that would work for the anti fog part. I was hoping that with the vents on the googles that i would not have this problem but it did not help any. Mask is really nice too and it comes up and or completely off. I will decide if i am going to keep it BUT the fog part will be the deciding factor.

I purchased this mask for my husband who has COPD. Previously when he snow blowed the driveway the wind would blow snow into his face and the cold, wind and snow would cause him to struggle breathing. This winter has been horrid with lots of snow most every week. A good test for the mask. He used it and loves it. The wind and snow no longer hit his face, his eyes are protected and the wind is deflected so he has a much easier time doing this chore. He likes the face shield that he can move outward slightly if he needs more air. The eye shield has a tendency to fog after long usage. I might try my snorkel anti-fogging spray in the future. I tried the mask when using a roof rake on the snow (yes we had a bad winter). It worked wonderfully to protect my face from the swirling snow. Highly recommend.

This face shield and goggles could not have worked better. I got it to keep debris from hitting me in the face while using my trimmer. After having a rock strike me in the nostril, and stay in my nose, it was time for more PPE for yard work. The goggles with the films that come with it stayed clear, didn't fog up, and the whole thing was Soo comfortable, I didn't notice I was wearing it until a rock bounced off the goggles! This face shield was worth the money, held up well to ricks and other debris striking it, and you will hardly know you are wearing it. Good ventilation through the shield and the goggles keeps them from fogging up even when you get a good sweat going. I'm kicking myself for not buying this sooner!

Great eye protector when riding on the highway .. I purchased for me and my husband..

I bought this based on good reviews. However, it didn't meet my requirements and expections and felt it was rated too high by other reviewers. Make sure it is what you want to order otherwise there is a restocking fee not disclosed on the web ad by seller! They need to disclose all the return policies which they don't.Positive: Seller did ship item on time. Seller did communicate to finish up the return process (needed couple of messages/tries though). And overall product has sturdier and thicker glass than some other similar types. Price point of $20 with discount is good compared to thicker material it offers (the listed price of around $25 is not and will be considered to me too much for what it offers right now, unless they do improvements in manufacturing for this product to work properly and better).Problems: 1) It gets hard to figure out from the choices on website ad which one might be clearer option rather than the darker glass, specially for the mouth piece color, which needs an improvement on the advertising end showing each type with flip of the actual photo and the color. Seller says Amazon does that part of providing info and advertisement, but how come other sellers have a better options or ads by clearly showing exact photo that flips with product selection? I tried to order the clear glass, but still seems I was sent the tinted one, as the glass color looked pretty dark! 2) Upon opening and closing the shield's mouth piece the ratchet was not letting open or close in all the 3 positions for adjustement as it kept on snapping most of the time out of its place and not hold in place. 3) The Lens part of goggles was also too close to the glasses. When adjusting the band tighter to be able to hold the weight of the Shield (the Shiled is considerably heavy) I couldn't bear the pressure of tightness so could not use it as a protection shield on any way, which was the main purpose of getting it to begin with. 4) Also I could feel some fog creation although it says the item is Anti-Fog?! There is much you can tighten this around your head otherwise you get headache. I'm not sure if this problem was unique to my case or it differs from one person's skull and eye and eyeglass dimensions to another, or what?Result: The product may work for some but may not for others like me. As probably depends on how the form and size of your skull is or what type of glass you may be wearing underneath the goggles. But for sure product needs imrovements to operate and hold better: 1) The manufacturer needs to have the goggles produced a bit further away from the face and if the person wears glasses the goggles should be more curvey coming around the skull toward up the ear, because it gets harder to see your sides when it is too big. 2) In the meantime the material must improve as of anti fog as it was not anti fog for my case. 3) Must have a screw like or some sort of fasteners on the side of the ratchet or to hold with some other method, to really be able to fasten these in place so that it won't snap off out each time a person wants to open and close it all the way in all or any of 3 settings. And then easy to unfasten to be able to take off.The whole purpose of buying this item compared to so many others in market was to be able to open and close specially in that 3 settings, be anti fog and clear to see, and easy to use the shield while not be too heavy or pressuring on the head/skull and face, and be thicker and sturdier material. Only it was thicker material but it didn't fulfilled the rest for me, so I had to return it.I'm hoping just other buyers would do a better and more honest and practical reviews as such, to help others to decide whether to buy the item or if it is not fit for them or it may work for them or within their requirements do not buy it. Otherwise, the price point of $20 (which was with discount) was appropriate for the type of shiled that this is. If you do not want to open the Shield and just keep on wearing it for long periods may be you would have a better success, but I needed this to work with 3 setting open/closure and not fog and be clear, which was important selling points of this product. I hope the manufacturer can improve these shortcomings and consider these points in future manufacturing to result in better end product because the seller says they are just distributors (but I feel they should be able to get in touch with manufactureres for positive feedback for improvements), to be able to give this product another try in future time.

Love this product! I work at a public rest area and social distancing is nearly impossible at times as travelers pass through. I had used several other goggles that always fogged up and made it impossible to see what I was doing and they were always uncomfortable but these goggles have not fogged up on me yet! It fits perfectly over your KN95 face mask. I love that the shield rotates up and down and easily is removed, I haven’t used the shield yet because I feel comfortable enough with my KN95, but it’s good that I have the shield readily available and easily can attach it if I feel that my KN95 needs some added protection. I’ll probably buy a second one of these to have on hand should this one need replaced quickly. Highly recommend for anyone working in the public sector wanting some added protection.
