Great lights and great price
The wife wanted to put some bug lights in the front and back porch fixtures. But we also needed them to be bright. Every where in town only had 40 watt bulbs so I went to old reliable Amazon and found these. They are good and bright and use less power then the standard bulb . Not sure if anything keeps bugs away though.

This is the ticket!
This is a heavy duty light that works great. It is bright enough to suit our front porch light needs as well as keeping the bugs from swarming the light. We live in the country in the middle of a field so there was no other light for the bugs to swarm so they always came to our light on the porch but this yellow light works beautifully. I recommend!

Cost more but hard to find.
These cost more than I wanted to pay, but worth it. If you can find these in any store you might as well buy a lottery ticket! If they cost less than the Amazon price , buy two lottery tickets! Work great to keep bugs off my front porch and will last a super long time!

Great illumination
Great price, great illumination but the bugs don't all stay away, but most do

TriGlow Yellow LED A19 Light Bulb, 9W (60W...
been using the bulbs for about a month now and am quite happy with them...thought I would have liked 75 watt better but the 60 watt are doin' just fine...we have 11 outside light fixtures that are motion activated so expecting these bulbs to last a long time...don't know how they are doin' with the bugs as they aren't on any length of time to notice...like the color when they are on...much more pleasing to the eye...

Not as good as I had.
Bought another LED yellow bug bulb from Amazon 2 years ago. That bulb was 40 watts not 60 as the currently purchased bulb. I find that it does not shoo away bugs like the weaker bulb, also it is not as cheerfully bright at 60 watts vs the 40.

Great LED bug lights.
Put one bulb at my front door , the other on my back porch . Glad to have LED bug lights. Thy do not attract bugs and produce a great deal of protective light !

One bulb failed in less than a year. Nope...both bulbs now...
I used these outdoors protected from the elements but not the hot and cold. They are on 24 hours a day One bulb failed in a little less than a year. Maybe I just got a bad one but if other reviewers have the same issue then it will start to mean something.Update May 13 2019. Both bulbs failed in less than a year. Lowering my rating to 1 star since they are supposed to last 20+ years.
